That is making it work bigtime for me.. woh ek jo warmth ka sprinkle hai na overall aosa kaafi time se nahi hua hai.. it makes one being rational in judging them too kisi se bhi instant karahat ya ghinn nahi aati.. even Mrs C who is my least fav and always doing drama and putting everyone down isn't doing it out of some faltu motive

@Spidie: LOL promo mein background is not South Indian....dhyaan se dekho unke kapde....the green chudiyaan on the married women was a big sign ki yeh Marathi hain😆

In fact green bangles was the only thing I found related to being Marathi. Its mainly the style of dressing , the Sarees and kids choli kind of thing. But then they butcher all settings , sabko equally caricaturish bana dete hai. 😆 To kya pata they might show them to be Marathi only, lol.

I'm going to remain skeptical of how much they follow the Bengali original....based on the way a certain crowd keeps whining in the forum, lag nahin raha they are following it that directly also....bas broad plot same hai....baaki kuch variations hain.

Arre uss junta ko toh rehne hi do.. I am so happy they are tweaking things for the better and improving otherwise what is the point of putting so much effort and making a while new show uss tacky version ko hi dub karke laga dein

Yeah, even I feel a grey Malini would be far-fetched right now....ideally toh if they can handle this well, they should be balancing Adi-Imlie ka evolution alongside the evolution of Malini's personality as she begins to realize her and Adi don't have what they think they have. She's actually a pretty critical link b/w Adi and Imlie given how all their lives are wound up now.

I won't say my heart breaks for her....I do feel bad for her cuz she's oblivious to the truth...but I also roll my eyes at her for being that oblivious😆.....the way she keeps living in her lala land kinda makes her more eye-roll worthy than sympathy generating. I like her scenes with Imlie and the family members otherwise.

Word....that is what I'm liking too.....most of the characters are not cliched villains....except for woh psycho Nani but she is also not a regular character. City mein bas woh Mrs. C is OTT but uska bhi reasoning dikhaya hai for why she is the way she is.....she's not a caricature villain for the sake of it.

That is the most standout thing....most of them are good people trying to do the right thing and help each other....but they are all trapped in unforeseen circumstances and twists of destiny. I'm glad for once, such a formula has clicked rather than the usual OTT negativity.

I really like a lot of stuff in this show. Mainly all the actors , also the normal clothes which are beautiful too at the same time. Most of the time sab color coordinate bhi karte hai but its done so beautifully.

Tripathis are just so warm , genuine and positive people that pulls you right in. 😆 Most of the people have normal and sensible conversations that helps too.

The song is so perfect for the situation and scenes you jave chosen. The best part was aise chhodna, dil todna, yeh koi mazaak nahi. The scenes matched the tone of the song perfectly.

Arre haan I felt that... it was going nowhere and I didn't even mixed half the lines I wanted... I kept cutting the song part... caz kuch nahi bhaith raha tha.. I pulled my hair almost to itna sa bhi match karna... usually when I go into a mix I have a basic idea ke kaunsi line pe kya bhithana hai and I work around that.. and while I get that when I heard the song here it just didn't work on the TL... and I kept getting frustrated..

I wanted that line so bad it is my fav too the mazzak toh nahi one but I didn't wanted it the first time round caz it is a repeating line. Then none of the parts were working and yeb mera style hai vhi nahi ke ek scene ko repeat karoon so I felt so much pressure and frustrated while doing it

Today's Imlie was quite happening once again😆.....man, they pack in a lot of stuff into each epi.....lol

First part was family ka random dance on "Nachna aunda nahin"....I didn't really get why they were dancing to a Punjabi song after getting dressed up in Bhojpuri village style😆.....and Imlie ekdum bandar ki tarhaan uchhal uchhal ke break dance kar rahi thi sabke beech mein🤣.....Adi was alternating b/w dancing with Malini and everyone alse and then trying to stop Imlie from dancing so that she doesn't injure herself again😆....but hua wohi....chot lagva li Imlie ne phir se and daant bhi khaa li Babusahib se😆.

Malini is useful these days for pointing out things like the fact that Adi scolds Imlie whether he is irritated with her or worried for her.....fikar mein bhi daantna hi hota hai😆.....Adi ofcourse tried to instantly deny ki use Imlie ki fikar hai - he claims use family ki fikar hai jo stress ho jaati if Imlie's health got affected.....lol SURE SURE, Babusahib :P

Dev-Imlie ke scenes sweet the especially when he tried to dance with her later on.

But uske baad it all went downhill with Mrs. C ka shreaking banshee drama.....ekdum insane behave kar rahi thi. Is level ka tamasha in her own daughter's sasural. Malini bechaari was totally shattered and embarassed.....Tripathis bas dekhte hi reh gaye ki ho kya raha hai.....and all this over just a TIFFIN.....that is what Mrs. C went beserk over....ki Dev took a tiffin for Imlie.....no wonder he's spent a lifetime not telling her anything....this woman is insane.

Chalo bhai first suicide attempt of Imlie is here.....Dev basically wanted to end his life in despair after all this tamasha ki he's hurt both his daughters, he doesn't deserve to live....but as always, heroine Imlie ne aake bachaa liya end mein.....lol

Precap mein Adi-Imlie ka scene for once.....arey waah😆.....looks like it will be a sweet convo....but aajkal yeh log har scene mein background mein Malini ko aise daal dete hain like she's suspicious of Adi-Imlie....when she isn't really yet😆
