Earlier even if through hatred , at least he used to be intensely acutely aware of her presence around him. It's as if Imlie being around somehow electrified him and he would try to dissolve that through heightened reactions like scolding her or hurting her in some way.

Some how they at least looked like hero heroines together. You'd see them and you'd think they share something, some thing deep like a deep secret or connection.

But from today onwards , that hyper awareness is gone , it's like Imlie being reduced to being a furniture in Aditya's house while Aditya ignores her and Adini starts living their happy married life .

Through out , never once Archie became casual towards Baha. Either he'd intensely hate her and the day the intense hatred disappeared, it was replaced by more intense love. It proved that Archie was always very much influenced with Baha ,which paved way for his later obsession with her. Which is what always kept IK interesting. That spike of heat and passion between them stayed from day 1 and day n . I couldn't imagine this Aditya ever falling for Imlie. He's just not into her. Passion can not be forced into a person.

I'm sorry but makers don't know how to make a story like IK. They miss the point of it.

@pink. You are right. Its true. But if there was no passion woh Imlie ko bachane ke liye wapas kyiun ayi ? It won’t be like Baha Archie. But I feel like he does have passion for Imlie. I feel like being with his family brings that cool headed nature of his and he is back to being logical. Producers are trying to show both ships to satisfy the fandoms clearly.

We clearly see the contrast between when he brought Imlie and Malini to the hospital. Granted both situations were different, i feel like adi blows hot and cold with Imlie. But with Malini its like not like that at all. I think there is some significance behind the scene where Imlie asks adi to erase all the nishani of a suhaag.

thanks for the info. - did the malayalam version also have Adi equivalent turning possessive of Imlie equivalent? I'm trying to see when we can be sure Adilie is end game - else no sense getting excited and being disappointed. It seems zero sense to show all the significance of Imli's presence in Adi's wedding to Mun - ring running to her during engagement, Adi's leaving wedding etc to protect Imli, second round of wedding rituals in Pagdandia etc. Last but not least Adi Malini end game will not yield trps :)

Ok I'm getting your point. But Aditya practically behaving like those tender moments before she reached the hospital never happened. He's not having any questions or restlessness or any sort of reaction to the last few days. It's like he's totally unfazed and that was another person.

Why do some strange people in the forum think Adilie fans are expecting Aditya to be fully into Imlie right from the word go ?? Not a single fan said that. If we wanted to see something like that we'd have gone for web series , not a hindi tv soap, where every little things takes times and some times even a single day goes on for weeks.

All we want at this point is some clarity regarding the main ship. Is that too much to ask ?? Also it is common and normal expectations that there will be some unkaahi connection or ehesaas between the main couple.

No body wants to invest their time , emotions and money on a show that has no clarity.

We've to be realistic about stick by what is being shown in show.

See in our lives some people really affect us and some don't . It's like an inter person chemistry. We can jot down reasons why person A likes Person B ,or why they should be attracted to each other. But in reality can you replace that one special person with one who has exact same qualities and qualifications?? No , right ?? We'd still be in love with the previous one ,because it's not like kundali milana, ki chattish gun milane baithe hai. It's that magic factor that only exists between them two.

Even when Abhi hated Pragya his all thoughts and actions were connected and influenced by Pragya. Not a single day passed after meeting her , that he was not thinking of her or reacting to her.

Even when Arnav hated Khushi , he was obsessed with Khushi.

Even when Armaan initially couldn't even think of falling for someone like Jassi , he was always Jassi this .. Jassi that... and always reacting viscerally against her and around her, Malika always had major hatred for Jassi because she could see what effect she has on Armaam.

This is the first show where hero does not feel like that towards Heroine. It makes the journey intolerable and boring, instead of exciting and thrilling.

And yes journey is the joy , not the destination.

I agree with you on that. Except for the post bullet to hospital scenes - Adi does not seem to be affected as much by Imlie. And thats disappointing.

No ,in fact he was exactly like this Aditya . Totally unaffected by Imlie.

These little scenes do not mean much , since the Malayalam version had them in spades. Which is why the Imlie character felt hopeful that may be some day some how he'll fall for her .

But he never fell for her.

Protectiveness and care are not the same as love. For that there has to be an x factor element. The above two is present in sibling and close friends and even in family relationships. Let's not forget that even Fhruv immediately insisted on accompanying Imlie during Adini marriage when Imlie said I need to go out for a bit. Even Sundar deeply cares for her.

Endgame means the end of the show , so at that point what is the need of ratings?? They'll tow along the viewers till then and keep taking ratings.

true. I get your point. We have to see atleast a couple of weeks more to see how the journey leads from now on. I would be actually pissed if Adi really started liking Imlie from get go lol. Especially when he is in a relationship. As you said. Just let’s hope that producers don’t confuse us more. Especially these days people lose interest quickly.

One the other hand, do you really think he’ll not be hyperaware anymore?
