lol, even i have relatives in mumbai, they do speak normal hindi and english ...idk why they make so much heavy-focus on such words too..similarly, i've been to jaipur to visit some family & friends and they speak hindi and english more besides marwari dialect...idk why they put so much emphasis on the core language but not the other languages....like nobody is doing khama ghani khama ghani everyday over there...

Zee should revamp &Tv into 'Zee Youth' or something like they have 'Zee Yuva' for Maharashtra.

&TV is not going anywhere as their target TRP is very low unlike Zee TV where TRP should at least be 0.9-1.0. Show will not end till it reaches 0.1. Vaani Rani and Bitti Businesswali ran for months with 0.1. Now they have 4 shows with 0.4-0.5. Same like Sony TV whose show does not end till it reaches 0.2-0.3. Bhabhiji and Happu are actually good for family entertainment. These both shows has lots of fans. They are actually comedy not like Sab TV ones. Both get between 0.4-0.6. Ambedkar too gets 0.4-0.6. It would get 0.9-1.0 earlier but I think due to showing fake incidents from few months its getting lower. Yeshu got 0.5 for 3 weeks and was channel topper but this week it got 0.3 as they are showing fictional stories of a Christian God. I wonder why it did not received any complaint yet. Only Santoshi Maa and Gudiya needs to end but others are fine and getting okay ratings for channel.

But if their target trp is so low then why dont they bring more urban and modern shows. Instead crap like Yeshu which shows fictional story of Christ ( Highly unnaceptable ) and then that bizarre shit Santoshi Maa from Rasoda maker Rashmi. Atleast the modern shows getting 0.5-0.6 trp will be justified. Ye sab toh bilkul faltu hai. Not the ones which you mentioned.

Even in UP Bihar not everyone talk hindi in the accent shown in movies, TV and web series. They talk in normal hindi accent. I am from UP but live in Maharastra from birth. Even in their culture they show weird things and stereotype. Not every second person talk in UP Bihar accent but most educated people talk in Hindi only. They use lugaai word for wife which is not right everywhere. Bihar ka pata nahi but in UP a wife is called mehraaru which is used in even our village. In Gandi Baat, I was happy they used mehraaru word in village instead of lugaai. In fact, I never heard this lugaai word before 2009 in 1 Zee show. Most people in UP talk in Awadhi language but media shows as if everyone talks in Bhojpuri. Awadhi and Bhojpuri may look similar but its different in several ways. If you watched Nadiya Ke Paar then that language was Awadhi not Bhojpuri.

We live in a world where had to deal with modern day problems but shockingly there's not a single modern day lifestyle show that can encourage us to tackle our problems and give us some light hearted content. Aur remakes ki toh aisi baarish horahi hai ki agar abhi ek original show bhi aaye toh bhi people will call it remake like seeing Rudrakaal's news some people thought its a remake of a bengali detectivity show lol.

Modern shows aur low TRP laayega shaayad iska darr hoga. Just because Bhabhiji and Happu are comedy its still running as people who love comedy watch this instead of Sab TV ones. Santoshi and Gudiya though gets lower than 0.4 I guess. May be due to RS show Santoshi still running. Remember Parmavtar Krishna. It rating would be 0.8-1.0 so they shown child Krishna for more than 2 years with fake stories and Radha shown in ridiculous ways and also younger than Krishna which was not true. Then after 1.5-2 years TRPs started getting lower and even reached 0.3-0.4 so they made Krishna adult and brought other actors who would play Mahabharat characters. Still the show could not run long. How long will people watch the show for that cute kid playing Krishna? People did got bored later. Laal Ishq ran for 2+ years with 0.2-0.3 ratings may be due to it being weekend show. From 1-2 years only Bhabhiji and Happu is saving the channel. As for Yeshu, if the ratings again go low then they have to start Yeshu story as adult. Again here every can't watch for long just for the cute kid.

No Rudrakaal is not a remake. The show is a completely original story on how a DCP Rajan Chittoda staying in his limits tries to solve the murder mystery of his former mentor but this brings trouble in his family's life. SP never disappoints when it comes to serving quality content like Dahleez, POW, Everest etc. But Rudrakaal will be next level i am sure. Its a very high budget show and the actors are talent and veterans from film and web series background. Dipannita Sharma will be playing the FL Gayatri Chittoda. I just cant wait for the trailer.

honestly speaking, the marathi ppl i've either met/friends w/, they speak hindi & english too...yes, they speak marathi but they are not doing mast ahe, kai zala, ago bai, etc every day or dramatizing it,....idk whats really w/ the stereotyping....also, another word ive come across is "tera marad" (your husband) i think in UP & Bihar regions they show on tv, lol i dont think everyone is doing "tera marad" "teri lugai" everywhere for sure ...ive been to benaras a lot bc of family relatives & friends, they toh definitely said/will vouch for this....
