That dramatic love stories (parents against the union, misunderstandings, etc) are romantic. After going through such, is much prefer ones that were boring and parents were cool etc. Bollywood conditions you to want all the wrong things

Yeah. A quiet relationship with a boring person is the best. Over the top, dramatic romance is overrated tbh.

And, opposites attract. No thank you, thank you very much.

I think in this case, it is mostly reality meets cinema. Most of the relationship are difficult and need a loads of sacrifices and compromises, finding a partner who has same kind of interests, thought process and taste is very rare and difficult. I have never seen any relationship where there haven't a period where one partner or both haven't wandered or tried to avoid the other. I have seen that most people do indeed have that dramatic relationship, obviously drama isn't as public as cinema shows, but between two individuals drama is always going on.

2) Stalking is another 90s glorified stalking like anything.Hero was biggest stalker and sexual harraser

3) Heroine would wear modern dress when girl friend and when married only saree

4) If heroine does not marry lover and another an ex boy friend has to compulsory die in last scene just to show heroine is pure

5) If heroine has two husband first husband dies in last scene rather sacrifice his life so he do not come between her 2nd hubby and her

Too many stupid things

Do you really believed in all this 🤔

A good bahu is pretty much a slave who does everything for everyone at anytime they need it. A bad bahu is selfish for having basic individual needs

Possessive love is somehow hot and expected from men.

That people are either black or white, and nothing in between. In reality, people are grey.

That I thought pulling n pushing the person you are attracted to is a way of love, until I stood in the similar situation where the person I was attracted pulled me and by instinct I kicked him off and realised it's harrassment
