Who presented Aishwarya more beautifully?

They used minimum makeup on her in JA it was clothes and jewellery and her face

But I think she looked the most beautiful and stunning in her 2003 films : Kuch Na kaho and Dil ka rishta

She looks more beautiful in JA. During Devdas shooting she had lost so much weight, but still looked drop dead gorgeous. But I have to say SLB really presented her most beautifully. Not just aesthetically, but the way he gave her scenes and emotions and movement and dances, that was far far more beautiful than the quite boring role Ashutosh gave her.

IDC what anyone says. She looked her best in Hum Dil...so, SLB. Devdas was so OTT in my opinion.

SLB characters are too much in every sense - daramatics, make up, dance, acting, all....

Jodha was really beautifully done.

Paro character was stronger than Jodhaa because JA was told from Akbar's view point, not Jodhaa's while Devdas was more of Paro's selfless love for Devdas.

Jodhaa was also a great role but she has less dialogues, more expressions. The film is about how Akbar is changed because of his marriage to Jodhaa.

If Priyanka didn't win best actress for Fashion Ash definitely would have won for Jodhaa Akbar.

Unpopular opinion but I didn't like the way SLB styled Aishwarya (or Madhuri for that matter) in devdas.🤔

I can't be the only one who looks at Ash's makeup, sarees and jewellery from the movie and is reminded of the gaudy, over the top look that aunties usually opt for in desi weddings 😆

Also all that makeup took away a lot of Ash's natural beauty imo. In some closeup scenes it almost feels like you would be able to smudge that heavy eyeshadow or lipstick off just by touching the screen 😆

I like that in JA they kept the makeup to a minimum. Also it's good that after devdas SLB ditched that tacky style of costumes/makeup and Priyanka and Deepika from BM and Padmaavat thankfully look much more natural and era appropriate.

Mansoor Khan's Josh. OH MY GOD. She looked breathtakingly beautiful in that film.
