I don't think people are realising how many chances Vir gave to Purvi to explain, still she didn't out of fear.

In the hospital he respected her wish to speak alone and know her reason for not coming to see Manas.....but then the mobile came.....even then he did ask after coming back but by then Purvi had lost her senses???

While coming to the building, he waits for an answer when Mama Sarkar asks Purvi why she is doing this, still she does not say anything....

And yesterday also in the confrontation she didn't say anything......

Even if he believes she is not guilty, how else can he react when Purvi doesn't give him anything to support her???

Should he randomly start questioning his family without even an allegation on them???

Yes... What a long way he has come as a character! I stan Vir so hard. He might not be the most infallible man. He might make mistakes but once he realises he has made a mistake, he does everything in his power to not repeat them. It's such a beautiful quality a man can have.

In Sudha case, he was angry with Purvi for acting without proof and that is because as a Mukhiya he will always be bound by his sense of justice. Without proof he can't punish anyone. In sakshi's painting and then jewellery case, he acted out of line. He believed Anjali instantly. (And my theory for that was his own guilt of feeling something for Purvi acted up here) But once the truth came out, he realized his mistake. In the necklace stealing track, he didn't out right go berserk on Purvi. He was sensible throughout. And this track toh, he is showing the patience of the saints. You're right. He gave her many, many chances. Purvi needs to meet him halfway here because as far as I can see, he is doing more than his part to clear this misunderstanding.
