I agree but an eye for eye will only make the whole world blind. I disagree with a lot of preachings in Islam as well as Hindu but insulting others for following that is not justified i feel. We can argue, understand and eventually just agree to disagree.

Social upbringing plays a strong role in what one believes in and how they approach a topic. I appreciate this forum and participants because i get to hear stories and outlooks of people from a different country, culture. No two Muslims follow islam identically. I have learnt it here when i see someone from Pakistan, from Turkey or indian/Pakistani living abroad having a diverse opinion on quite a few discussions. And hence i feel fiercely on keeping this forum and people here as an open and respectful channel to learn and understand...and make no one feel targeted.

Islam is very strict and radical. Mullahs will go crazy and start killing if they ever show muslim girl marrying hindu in pakistani drama.

Islam is not strict. Every religion have some boundaries. And we should respect that. I respect your point of view but please don't use such words.

I dont actually care, but when people say it is the most peaceful religion or the "best" religion, this is when I have to speak, because anyone with even a little common sense will see how big of a lie this is.

I know almost every religion if you follow by the book has huge problems, most religions are not suited for the 21st century. But living here in the west and interacting with many people, I notice most people from other religions are not hard bent on following rules from their books, they want to live in the 21st century, not follow some ancient outdated books. For a lot of muslims this is not the case though, here in Toronto there is area known as the Taliban Ally, where if you go, you only see women in Burkas. If you go to countries like Pakistan, Afghanistan or even India (muslim areas) I would say almost 50% of the women will be in Burkas and no this is not by choice, I dont care how many people try to convince me other wise.
