Oh Kritika Kamra also in Tandav?
Regarding Shaurya Anokhi it’s not their love story that interests me so far, there’s a big age gap, he’s 10 years older and trustee/ director of the college she will attend. So their love story doesn’t really appeal to me that much!
It’s the concept of women’s right to higher education, right to a career, right to reject a forced wedding to a fraud NRI groom, that’s holding my attention. The domestic abuse scenes are making me mad but all of it’s true and still happening in homes across the country
I trust Tony and Diya to stick to the concept of female emancipation and not sink into the troughs of saas bahu sasural drama
Their aproach definitely seemed realistic even from the promos. Wow, thanks for the heads up! I was already thinking of following the show but felt that the story might just be a bit typical hence refrained from watching it. But what you have mentioned has got me intrigued.
I also really really loved Anokhi self-assuredness, her confidence from the scenes they showed in the promos. There are shows where they pointedly try to depict the leading lady as "strong" but Anokhi's strength of character seems to come from within, which makes the character all the more appealing and worth rooting for.
Wish they could completely avoid the romantic angle here.
Yes Kritika Kamra is a part of Tandav too and in quite a meaty role as well. I was excited to watch the series to see her role only and thankfully she did get to have a prominent role.
