:::INTRO:::

It was raining early in the morning in United States Newyork, a girl was sitting across her window whn she heard somebody calling her name...(her mom was calling her for breakfast)..the diary tht she was writing she glanced at it and read it the last time before she went to have breakfast...it was a poem tht she had written...something like this..

Aisa pehle baar hua hain satra athra saalon mein,

Andekha anjana koi aane laga khayalon mein,

khaboon ki diwaron mein ek saya sa lehrata hain

dil ki diwaron pein koi dastak de kar jaata hain..(she smiled)

mom: Kanya...Kanya..uff ! this girl god knows how much time will she take

Kanya: Coming mom (she closed her diary and ran downstairs)

Mom: What is this kanya..since when am calling you...

Kanya: Sorry mama..

Mom: Come on now have breakfast ...

Kanya had her breakfast and then took the newspapers to search for jobs..

This is an indian family settled in US for more than 15 yrs have a restaurant but thts not working very good and the family has a reasonable amount of debt to pay.To help her family Kanya decides to work as she has got a degree and has to repay her college tuition loans as well.The twist in the story is tht she doesnt knw tht her dream boy which she wrote in her diary is to come very soon in her life.....

Main Characters

Kanya: A 21 yr old girl, completed graduation

Ranbir: businessman...hate guru

Mom: Kanya's mom owner of a local reataurant

Mallika: Ranbir's mom businesswoman

Sid-Kanya's best friend..son of a rich father

Newyork a city where every second person is a desi(indian)..my family lives here from more than 15 yrs, yes we are also from India...its has been 4 yrs since dad passed away and mom had to look after the restaurant alone..its not working very well and there are debts to be paid as well..there are three members in my family me mom and dadi ...mom is living a life for others..dadi is a gr8t fan of Indian movies and so i too watch a lot of Indian stuff...me Kanya-my name, well my life has just started u can say for i completed the graduation this and m looking for a job to pay my tuition loans...

Kanya opened the window to see tht it was raining lightly..she sat down with her diary so tht she could enjoy every bit of the rain which made her feel fresh..

The diary is her personal diary where she writes abt her ..and abt her dreamboy as well...while here kanya was looking at the streets filled with rain water there her dreamboy was waiting for the rain to stop as it made him feel irritated and disjusted all the mess the rain created above all he treated rain to b very unhiegynic...

Kanya opened the diary but just then her mom called her for breakfast..she glanced at her poem tht she wrote from a movie which she watched along wid her dadi..the poem she thought was very beautiful..she read it out loud

Kanya closed her diary and ran downstairs

kanya: sorry mama

mom: come on now have ur breakfast

kanya after breakfast , took the newspaper and searched for jobs..

she found two jobs for manager in hotel..tht job suited her as she had a degree in hotel management
she wrote down the address and told her mom and emailed her resume to the company's.

Just then dadi entered singing abhi to mein jawan hoon..kanya smiled her at her

Dadi: putar tu kini soni lagdi hain lekin mujhse zaida nahi..

Kanya: ji dadi menu pata hain tusi to vade sone ho

Dadi: tu ne breakfast kiya..aloo de parathe

kanya: brkfast to kiya dadi lekin sirf cereal se

Dadi: kyon..

Kanya: woh dadi.(she couldnt find an excuse so she changed the topic)...aap ne naya movie dekha..race

Dadi: race haan usme saif kitna sona lagda hain woh kya bolte ho tum log hot..(giggles)

Kanya: ji dadi bada hi hot hain..(giggles too)

Dadi: chal abhi phir se dekhte hain

Kanya:nahi dadi mujhe sid se milne jaana hain

Oh i forgot to introduce..Sid..hes my best frnd...i forget all my tensions and worries talking to him..hes son of rich father who owns a marketing company..but since sid has joined they have not progessed even one percent nor ne profit gained whithin last two years..How do i know sid well met him in college cultural get together 3 yrs ago since then we r best frnds..Sid has lives alone not wid the family but does make sure to visit them in weekends..

Kanya grabs her helmet and drives the bike to the place where sid is supposed to meet her..she was late but she was sure tht sid wouldnt have reached as he is always late..and she was right he wasnt there..so she called him up..

Sid:hello

Kanya: hello my foot m waiting here for you and you...

Sid: oh shit kanya..m sorry ..m sorry..i forgot no i mean i'll b there in a couple of mins..so sorry

Kanya: come soon or else m leaving..she hangs up but smiles..
