Love versus Need

I have followed few shows before, thought something was interesting for this one as well. May be the chemistry of the characters(actors). Writing something for the first time and placing the thoughts which came across. This is something from Virat’s standpoint.

If I think from Virat’s point of view, his life could have been so peaceful had he got the opportunity to say what was in his heart (for him it was true love). Pakhi was the perfect one according to him for his family. His choice was his family’s choice (just for the wrong son). Isn’t she the perfect fit, the one who listens, the one who speaks less, respects elders (in a certain way) and is liked by all? For that matter, she was even liked by Ashwini in the start, but things got bitter once the mother found out the reality.

But then fate (makers) had something else planned for Virat, they didn’t want him to lead a normal peaceful life. He needed some entertainment, some dhamaka, some action (since he was getting none in his job) at home. He was introduced to a fire brand known as Sai, who is extremely opposite to his and his family’s ideologies. Circumstances made them marry and brought them together. Though they are poles apart they are stuck together. They say they won’t be with each other for long yet want to do things for each other. He would go at any lengths for her and only looks for an acknowledgement from her. This is the first time he did not get his acknowledgement and that’s where he was hurt.

Currently Virat is a hurt lion who is brooding, he doesn’t know what to do with his emotions. Hence, he is targeting the one person because of him he is hurt.

After looking at the entire scenario, a thought crossed my mind and have heard someone saying it as well. At times you don’t get what you love but you do get what you need in life. The person you love may not be the one you need. But at one point the person you need by your side can become the love of your life as well. Guess something like that has happened here as well, lets see how it progresses further. Its surely not a simple ride, this ride is gonna have lots of twists and turns some a little bit steeper and once they sail through, they would know at times destiny does work some magic.

I Totally agree with you. It's just that one should realize that everything happens for a reason.

Sometimes we don't know what is really perfect for us & what want in life.... just go with they flow.

loved ur views about the show 😊. N yes I feel the same about Virat. All he wants a bit of acknowledgment ( not love confession though ☺️) from Sai's side. Remember the smile of his face when Sai said yeh mere pati hain.😆 n when sai appreciated Virat efforts in front of her Aaba pic. 😆. His feelings are in initial stage right now n all he wants a bit of acknowledgment of his presence in Sai's life.

I guess initial they might be happy but even pakhi would have retarded to some situations.... Like not going out whenever she want ( remember even don't want to permission to go to her maika), she wants virat to listen to her which might irked family at one point and she won't be silent for taunts , I am sure if mk gang would have taunted her if sai is not there in picture. now because of sai she is burning with jelousy so she is not able to other stuff and family is also focusing on sai.

PS: I like Aishwarya but yaar seriously vuska expression is always same in every situation even in yesterday episode everyone changed lot of expressions but pakhi ka expression is always same.

@Saichintalli - Agree with your point it would have happened as you mentioned as you cant hold a façade for long, somewhere the true shades would have come out.

But then if that holds right for Pakhi, then true shades of Virat are also coming out. Not sure if he every introspected what he needs in life. What really makes him happy? It seems he was always happy with his family being Happy. A man who could fight for Sai at his doorstep, could not fight for the love of his life, that is not something which cannot be digested

Regarding the action part, you need to get into the skin of the character to get all the emotions right that's what I understand. Not judging anyone but right now the connect is missing. I am not able to connect.

There is a reason why you dislike/like Kaku or Ninad or Ashwini, as they play their characters very well. Though these are senior actors and are known very well in Marathi they do have a great screen presence. To hold your ground in front of them requires effort

Both virat and sai are each other's need..... Virat needed someone like sai who is a sunshine in his mundane life... For the first time he experienced happiness in little things like going out together, late night chit chats, dining together etc.... He might have never thought that these little things could bring so much happiness in life.... He never let anyone spoil their happiness too... This time its sai herself going against him which is pissing him off... Possessiveness, jealousy, insecurity so many feelings he is experiencing at this point.

For sai, virat is her mentor and guardian angel... Someone who is fulfilling aaba's absence in her life... Sometimes she gets overwhelmed with his gestures.... Be it bringing bringing candy floss, taking her out for nadi trip or the head massage when she has migraine... These things were done by her aaba in the past.... So she adores him.... She always looks at him expectantly whenever his family starts taunting or torturing her.... No because she can't stand up for herself... But because she wants him to be there for her and fight for her.... The reason why she's feeling so hurt after his outburst.

Ps. Had virat and pakhi got married, they would have bored each other to death.... That relationship was meant to be doomed, with or without sai and samrat in the picture.

So very true. They are like teo halves who make the picture whole. Sai is like a volcano- always ready to erupt. She needed someone who is clear headed and calm to tone her down which is exactly how virat is.

Virat in my opinion is like stable water of a pond, not moving and always constant. He needs someone who urges him to move forward to reach his destination. Sai is that force of nature which will propel him to move, emote.

I don’t understand how they dont realise it yet but they fight like typical husband wife. And they don’t even feel the need to apologize to each other. They understand and then move forward and create happy moments.
