He surely has a soft corner for her, maybe because when they entered she was on top of her game and liked by all while he was the loner, yet she sat with him etc. I feel Aly was on point with the fact that Rahul should not forget that Nikki literally got super personal with him.
On the other hand, its not like Arshi is actually trustworthy as Aly believes. She has already betrayed them once and I'm inclined to believe she will do it again. Devil and deep sea situation it is.

regarding choosing arshi over nikki well he saved nikki once signing the declaration which was huge for anybody but in return he got her flip while in case of arshi they radd her immunity task where she performed well so imo arshi deserved a favour in comparison to nikki
regarding arshi betraying well nikki arshi both betrays rahul aly not in good terms with nikki while arshi is loyal to aly if not rahul so I feel trusting arshi is better choice over nikki even if she ditch they can complain and fight with her equally
