Isn't it the first time that Virat used the word "pyaar" in reference to Sai, in the way it is meant to be? He has been forever confounding his 'affection' with his zimmedari. But today, in those 10 minutes of the near heartbreak, he almost got a preview of his feelings😀.
He definitely picked some words and sai's emotions from the whole phone convo . How sai talked about the lack of pyaar and all so he decided to explain her his way of loving someone. Par mujhe toh 1000 watt ka shock laga virat ki mooh se PYAR shabd sunke. I was like ye maine kya sun liya rewind karke bhi dekhi maine. But the second time he said pyaar I was pleasantly surprised. Had they really had a peaceful dinner we wouldn't have got to know the real intentions of virat behind the dinner plan . It felt so good to actually hear the he planned to have dinner with her to know how her day went !!!!! Such pati patni wala feels ❤️❤️❤️
It is said that jest and anger are two ways to speak the truth -- knowingly or unknowingly. That typical husband-wife fight, many true words have been spoken. While Sai's act was evidently fake -- the words were not by default. And Virat caught on to each one of them: "meri zarooratein"... "mera bhi toh dil hai, main bhi toh chahti hoon koi mujhse pyaar kare.. pyaar ki do baatein kare... kya tum mera pyaar nahi banoge... meri murjhayi zindagi mein bahar ban ke aane ke liye..." Oh, every dialogue was a separate dagger piercing his heart 💔. As he watched Sai, he evidently understood the truth too -- or so it appeared to me. He might have to introspect once his anger subsides: Was he being "fair" by asking this "young, beautiful, intelligent" woman to be a "deal-wife", completely forgetting what she would desire -- and then want to seek it at some point of life from someone, if not him? 😟
Her words peppered his heart brutally and his eyes spoke it all. The visible hurt and shock on his face are not to be missed !!!! This may turn out to be his Eureka moment about the deal wali marriage and how both of them actually unknowingly has started expecting things from each other .
The icing on the cake for me was Amey saying "Pyaar me koi jaldbaazi nahi hoti" -- wasn't it something on the lines of what Virat mentioned to Patralekha while attempting to confess his yoga-love? But today, he couldn't gulp it down when someone else said it to his 'wife'. It made him fume. Perhaps, the only consolation came in Sai's reluctance to answer Amey's "apne pati ko chhodh do aur mere saath chalo nayi shuruwat karne". I think if she had said an instant "yes", Chavan saheb would have snatched the phone right away. If his eyes were guns, he would have shot "Amy baby" dead on the spot😠 but filhaal, Chavan saheb, get that ice pack from your vehicle and put it on your head.
Ohhhhh tab toh chavan saheb bomb ki tarah phat jayega ..... Thankgod sai didn't do that varna amay sach mein kal ka sooraj nahi dekh pata !!!!! But it looked nice that for the first time we got to see possessive virat as a husband to Sai not as a friend or mentor
Jokes apart, was his rage justified -- yes and no.
Yes: Because he was also actually speaking from the protectiveness for Sai. This is not just his feeling of wanting to protect her from the 'danger' of trying to honey-trap a man like Amey but also to protect her from the onslaught of criticism, hurt and allegations that his own family will make, picking up the opportunity without fail -- "Tum unhe ek aur mauka de rahi ho". And, it is evident from the precap when Bhavani calls her "behaya" going with a "paraya aadmi". Chavan saheb, I feel bad for you 🥺. He's just so drained in this constant match between the family and wife and he does not want to be the referee, as I mentioned yesterday. Unenviable position. And there is a definite yearning to find a "normal" with this woman who makes him feel the best about himself. 😔
Exactly my point !!!!!! All the time his only worry was about sai. He didn't want her to buy new trouble for herself. He know that his family can make raai ka pahad so he is trying to avoid it . And he didnt raise his voice at the start until sai asked him to behave properly with shivani bua. I felt he was nice with shivani. I didn't see a hint of disrespect .
Sai really needs to learn to pick her battles. We have been emphasising this time and again. All these days she fought with chavans but today she injured her own team ,her partner in every thing and her rock solid support.
I know they will come back stronger but it did feel bad to see virat helplessly trying to help Biwi only to get blasted at !!!!!
No: Let's be honest, he went mad at Sai because his heart couldn't handle the truth Sai unwittingly spoke. He would have said the logical parts about the family showdown and his disapproval of her action in his usual firm but calm manner. What drove him to this extreme reaction was his helplessness as a 'husband'. He was screaming at his 'wife', not at badtameez Sai Joshi. One could see his breath trapped in his chest and that discomfort coming right to his eyes. But, it did not come out in words -- it won't, unless he introspects and acknowledges what this marriage has begun to mean to him.
I wrote at length yesterday about Virat's approach and his feeling to get Sai the status she deserves, and so much discussion happened in so many posts. Today's reaction from Virat makes it evident that he has moved on from the yoga-vaada and even the deal-marriage conditions to wanting a normal husband-wife relationship minus the physical intimacy with Sai as of now. And, I won't say it is a subconscious feeling any more. He is making conscious efforts to show it to her but not acknowledging it the way he should. The understanding that he is seeking from Sai in reciprocation is not going to come unless he breaks his silence.
He definitely moved on from the yoga wala love and is now all ready to give his marriage a fair chance. But the confusion and inner turmoil is what making it difficult . And communication is the key. They never sat with each other and spoke about them as a couple. They always had open ended conversations.
As some other posts have pointed out too -- he caught on to the word "pyaar" from Sai's conversation with Amey and used it two times to express what he has been doing. "Itne pyaar se tumhe college drop kiya, kaam par gaya, socha tumhara haath theek hoga toh saath me dinner karenge... pyaar se poochunga college ka pehla din kaisa tha, do baatein karenge.."😉True words are also spoken in anger. And Virat used the word "pyaar" for the first time in context of this marriage -- and Sai heard. 🥺
Did Sai gather what he wanted to say? I think she did, but only a part of it -- the fact that he was speaking to her as her 'husband' was clear. She paused for a moment when he said, "Mujhe pasand nahi hai"... but then, it was a deliberate -"Maine aap se kab kaha main wo karungi jo aapko pasand hai". She knew it would hurt and she wanted it to say it to him😟. She has hangups of her own about his feelings because he is the one who has said those things to her and he should remember that he has not yet cleared the air.
Her "Dinner khilane ke badle daant kyun khila rahe hain' was also heartbreaking💔I felt bad for both of them -- both of them were actually looking forward to this little 'pyaar' they could share over that blessed plate of dinner that sat at the table witnessing them scream at each other in words they actually did not wish to say. And actually for an issue that is someone else's for a change but well... 🥺
Yeah it did break my heart. Amidst all the family drama the only solace for them is each other. And how much that little moment meant to him is not unknown to us . How they wanted to have a small talk over food and forget about the eventful day it has been💔💔💔
The clinching moment for me:
It was so BEAUTIFUL how Virat stopped at the door and took that breath he had held for such a long time when he saw that dinner plate -- and that glance he gave her when he realised she had also been waiting for him 💕. It must have soothed his heart a bit. Him asking her to eat alone and walking out even as Sai probably wanted to stop him for the dinner: both of them wanted to end the fight already. But, well, the moment had already been lost. The river had flown ahead... 🥺😔
This moment is just ❤️❤️❤️. How much they hate fighting with each other ? Remember sai once asked him " jab bhi hum baat karte hai toh behes kyu hojaati hai " . They now no longer wants to fight with each other for whatever reason it maybe . They are at a phase where they just want to fight for each other with the whole world. Sai in a fit of rage didn't realise the intensity of words she hurled at virat but virat immediately regretted the words he blurted out. His "maza nahi aata usse jhagda karne mein " is so heartbreaking !!!!!!!

The zillat arena scene is still incomplete so I am only going to point out at a few things:
What is with Ashwini sulking?🤔 I cannot understand why did she, once again, choose to remain a silent spectator ALL through the build up to Sai's 'badtameezi'. When left alone and cornered to allow the Chakram Makad Sena to baarood bharna in her, she will obviously burst. Even during the mahabhoj, Ashwini remained tongue-tied. This is coming as a jarring character break to me after all the strong stands she took for Sai initially. Is she beginning to get disillusioned with Sai's counter-attacks at the Chakrams or is it because she doesn't want to be dragged into it in Virat's absence? What is the point of applying balm at the end when you couldn't stop the injury from happening in the first place😑. She may have not wanted to react when the aadarsh bahus and the wannabe aadarsh Karishma were blaming Sai for not contributing to the housework, but when they walked up to gang up on Sai, when Ninad raised his hand, Ashwini remained mum. I know she cannot sustain a fight, but not even walking up to Sai's side left me disappointed.
Ashwini is one character which is becoming less interesting day by day. I hoped her to be the shield for our dewdrop in virat's absence.i really failed to understand her silence in the masala scene and today. Why is she not standing up for sai ?????
Jali Hui Didi just found an ointment tube to treat her first degree burns na!? When Virat screamed the "Bass Sai", Bappa re! What relief swept over her -- like the cold breeze from the Nashik yoga camp just arrived in Nagpur 😅😂. But Didi, sorry to break your heart, the ointment tube is empty😎. You will find out soon. Despokhi grabbed the opportunity to instigate Virat but I don't think Virat actually fell for it. On the contrary, I think he is very aware that they are all going to instigate him because he knows what is coming up and he so doesn't want it. 🥺
The very fact that virat didn't spare a glance at her when she spoke of his gussa over biwi shows that he has moved on in his life and as we already discussed nadi ki pani ko sirf ek baar chu sakte hai hum. He was infact broken that he had to use these words for biwi.
And another interesting progress is he intially used to say sai doesnt like pakhii and all but yesterday he told tumhe sai pasand nahi hai . The mask is off now even if not to the fullest . It's only a matter of time now !!!!!
Makad Sena and spokesperson are not aware that Virat is having a anger-hangover from a very personal feeling for Sai. That combined with his very, very deep anguish that Sai is walking into slaughter in a few minutes and he won't be able to help her come out unscathed although he will eventually not allow the slaughter at any cost🥺. But har kutte ke din aate hain, so Didi, enjoy, today is perhaps your half-day because Sai is actually being stupid, I admit.😐😐 She should have left it to Virat to deal with the fraudster but she has taken it upon herself to prove Shivani innocent-- which is working as a balm for Shivani but causing heartburn to the 'husband'.
I do not blame Virat for rebuking Sai today (only as much as we saw) - not because it was his hurt-anger spilling over but because Sai actually did not use tact. She did not need to indulge in so much verbal exchange with the Makad Sena when she knew she was going into an "act" with Amey that the Chakrams will not understand and Virat has already warned her about. She should have just walked out and stood elsewhere instead of giving tit-for-tat to Bhavani and then also engaging in Ninad and Omkar. She needs to learn the power of silence. Just walk out.
The only justified retort was to Ninad - the permission she gave him to dare to slap her😠. This man! 🤬 But apart from that, she should have just remained calm simply because she is the one who is aware of what is going to unfold in a few minutes.
Silence is the biggest weapon somedays and sai needs to ignore some battles now for her own good. I don't see any reason justifying today's behas. She could have easily avoided it.but thats her character flaw which she will overcome in coming days hopefully !!!!
I will still want to watch the entire sequence tomorrow. I think in this particular face-off with the family Virat is in a very vulnerable state about his own feeling for Sai that he is not at all prepared for this 'badtameezi' fight. We all know that stress and anxiety we feel when we fight with someone close to us and it is unresolved, especially the spouse. And he's now almost desperate that Sai should stop being reckless and walk into the lion's den. He really wants her to carve a space of her own in that house. Since he mentioned "jalebi" word again to her, I so wish he sits her down in their next calm conversation and explains to her the need to be in the same team -- if not about his raw feelings yet. Because that is when they slay it the best, when they are in one team!
WE NEED A HEART TO HEART CONVO BETWEEN THEM PERIOD. It's hightime they actually put their hearts out.
Awaiting tomorrow's installment because, honestly, I loved how Virat was affected by that phone call. But wait, he's going to allow her to go alone in that car with Amey? 😅 Video call nahi karega?😅 Uff, Amey ki dhulai dekhne milegi ya Chavan saheb sirf kanoon ke lambe haath use karenge?😆
