My goodness! I actually felt bad for Virat in today's episode at least before he arrived at the Zillat Arena!

He seemed so done with all the drama and to his credit he did try and explain to Sai in a nice way but Sai wasn't ready to listen either but still it just looked like a normal pati-patni having differences fight.

On top of everything Virat seems to have pre concieved notions that only Sai is capable of badtameezi without any trigger which is not right, agreed that he was not there for the entirety of the chilli peesna and even today's living room scene but both the times he had his own opinion on Sai's behaviour than anything else.

I agree that it is not so easy to accept one's own family's flaws especially if you have grown up under their wing and while idolising some of them.

What Sai and Virat need right now is to communicate openly without a third person however I think we definitely need one third person to open her mouth. I want Ashwini to speak to Virat tell him what happened in his absence both the times this in no way would be filling his ears against the family but providing the much needed perspective. If she continues to stay quiet and let Virat see one side of the picture then the relationship she is rooting for and hoping to grow would crumble even before it begins.

I feel that after watching the episode thus far both are wrong in their own ways although I could definitely see that Virat's outburst wasn't momentary but something simmering from the previous night.

I actually enjoyed the fight it wasn't like anything I was dreading, in fact they asked each other some hard hitting questions! "Who are you to give me suggestions and why do I need to follow them?"

I am now looking forward to the make up 😆(still any reference to Aaba's upbringing is enexcusable irrespective of the reason)

Sai's plan is dicey and I felt Virat's annoyance at her plan is not because of jealousy but because of certain words that he heard that acted like a mirror (Don't I deserve love too) and well he is a freaking police officer he knows how guys like Amey think and act but well Sai is an ITV bahu at the end of the day so no matter how hair brained the plan is it'll end up working.

Coming to Sai, I am not sure if I can call her entirely wrong but if I were to borrow Janki's analogy she definitely put her hand in the centre right where the kichdi is hottest. Yes she was being targeted and in fact a lot of her words irrespective of the tone were a reflection of how lonely and cornered she was feeling because of the so called "Ghar ke Bade" it was heartbreaking, however she can't challenge everyone and everything at the same time because the actual issue would be lost in the chaos and clutter of the noise.

Was it just me or did anyone else feel that Paakhi had one look at Virat entering the Arena and decided to butt in to contribute to the chaos?

@bold I noticed it too!! She saw him coming and added more fuel to the fire to show how Sai doesn't fit in this family.

Sai and Virat are both flawed in the way they deal with these family jhagda. Sai is becomes aggressive with Makad gang as she hot tempered and Virat is too cool with them as he wants to end it.

Like Janki rightly points out, Sai's tone overshadows the point of her argument but its also Virat who fails to put his foot down. There are so many accusations against Sai which were made right in front of him but he did not dare defend her.

These guys need to talk it out and start working as a team because Sai is starting to feel lonely and Virat seems fail miserably in keeping her out of this toxic environment. Probably because he doesn't really see this as toxicity.

Completely agree with you!

They both have to talk to each other and communicate but more than that I feel Virat needs to witness how she is treated.

Like in all the scenes, even when PP’s dad came to drop her, she didn’t lose her cool but they were all still taunting her. 😕

I appreciate Virat for always defending Sai and standing by her side, against his family. But the problem is that he keeps on ignoring the way his family treats Sai constantly. He notices it but he never speaks up. That is why today he wanted to protect Sai from giving his family more ammunition to taunt her. The living room scene would have been so much better if along with telling Sai to be quiet he had told Bhavani to stop calling her jungli murgi and told Sonali and Patraleka to not interfere when he is dealing with his wife. He defends Sai but he always tells her to change, to tone down, to talk respectfully. He needs to tell his family to talk respectfully with his wife too. He must make it clear that he understands his family does not like Sai, they can be angry with him for marrying her but to leave Sai alone as she does not deserve this treatment.

There is absolutely no doubt that he does defend her. But like you said he fails to address some crucial things. He fails to realize that respect is a two way street and he cannot expect Sai to be respectful when his family lacks in the very same department

Regarding last part, Pakhi knows that one of her task in keeping her status of chahite bahu is ti add fuel to fire whenever there is something Sai-related >. <

He expects Sai to be respectful because they are elders. That is his only criteria ---> age. But if he saw Ninand telling Sai he will slap her, Virat would have lost it...on his own father. Even though Virat is not blind to the treatment Sai is getting, he thinks she is getting it because she is different and thinks that if she gave them time, they will come around as "woh dil ke ache hain." Someone needs to open his eyes and show him that his family members have black heart. What I would love to see is a scene that happened today in the living room but the other way around, all family members are facing Sai and when Virat enters, all of them have their back against him not knowing he has entered, only Sai can see him and for her to let them all talk. Dhood ka dhood aur pani ka pani ho jayega.

I am getting bored n irritated.

Is the Chavan Family not enough for drama now tgt SaiRat too started.

I always liked sai does keep quite when Virat asks her to... They have some eye to eye communication and one of they sober down.

But today i really thought Sai went overboard... Sorry to say this, maybe some will not agree..

What she is doing is right not about Shivanibua

But she cannot always be rude to elders..

I somehow didn't like todays episode..

N yes really really felt bad for virat

I was so sure his timing would be wrong, that's why I wanted to watch the episode first.

You are so right when you said the ourburst was simmering from yester-night.

I also think there was jealousy in the first scene. Maybe there was more protectiveness, but there was definitely jealousy - his repetition of baby, baby was evidence. Moreover, he said he does not like her talking to Amey, or any other man in such a way, this was a give away from me.

The queen of toxicity definitely started instigating when she saw Virat at the back. She told Kaku to have the tea to pretend to be the greater bahu. I also think she was aware of SaiRat's fighting the night before - isiliye to nayi sari pehenke ayi neeche🤣
