Both were right in their own ways

I am just gonna talk about the argument that happened at the beginning because the family drama is just too annoying to discuss.

Sai was right to give Amey a lesson for hurting a woman's feelings because sometimes just putting criminals like Amey to jail is not the finish to a problem. In all this, they undermine the fact that women like Shivani deserve an apology from them. So Sai was in the right place to want to give that apology to Shivani which she deserves.

However, Virat is also right in his place. Whatever Sai wants to do can backfire and cause more trouble. The solution to this would have been if they both had worked together. Virat could have listened to Sai's plan and then made her understand what could go wrong with it. He just didn't have any confidence in her and just blasted out and Sai reacted the same in response.

Okay, I said I won't talk about the Family drama, but I will just keep it really short. I loved each and every word Sai had said. Could she have toned it down? Yes. But would that have changed the outcome? No. The family would still go off on her anyways the same way, if not, worse. I just hate when the men in the house just think it is the women's duty to do all the housework... no sir, if you live in the house then you better put your contribution as well. Sometimes I get mad at my mom for expecting me to do all the chores and doesn't expect my bro to even do his own dishes. It pisses me off and sometimes I go off like Sai did today. However, this is because of the male dominating culture we live in where rules are set by gender and we have to abide by them. I am actually happy they brought it up, especially the housework part in this show, and addressed it some LIT counterattack from our Firecracker.

If men can retire from work, how come women cannot retire from their housework? They freaking get a pension for their years of service and women get only taunts despite their years of unpaid service.

I completely agree with you. They both showed their character flaws today in the episode and showed us how they have a lot more room to grow.

That family scene was so exhausting and sexist. I literally got mentally tired after watching it.

I said almost the same in the other thread. Both were right but the episode was so draining. All this shouting and taunting is just getting too much. It is a headache watching this show now.

In the bedroom scene both Virat and Sai were right. Virat did not want Sai to interfere because he did not want the family to get more ammunition against Sai and Sai wanted Shivani to get justice, in and outside the legal system, and she knows no matter what she says or does the family will never accept her. What was draining in that scene was Sai's screaming. Virat started to talk calmly, explain to Sai but all she did was scream. She could have calmly explained too. She did explain but with so much anger, which was not needed. In the end, Virat lost it. Seriously, these 2 need to learn that when one loses it the other needs to calm down. Especially Sai needs to learn this. When Virat lost it, instead of calming down, she started screaming even more loudly. Virat might have been frustrated due to jealousy or to protect Sai, but Sai just refused to listen. It is okay for her to stand for Shivani, but to not even try to listen to what Virat is saying, not even consider it, and on top of that just answer by screaming and screaming, it was just too much. Sai could have said all that a little calmly too. So in this scene, Sai was at fault to me even if her words were right. The tone matters. I could care two hoots how she talks with other family members, they deserve nothing. But with Virat, she talked to him the same way she would talk to other family members who torture her nonstop. That was not right. And the way she said that she did not take an oath to do only what Virat says was hurtful. Virat did not mean it that way, he just meant it in this particular matter. As I said, she just would not listen to the words he said.

I also think in the living room scene, Sai went a little OTT with her drama. But oh well, the family was even worse. Ninand even said he would slap her. Again Sai was right in the living room scene, it is just that she needed to let it go this time. Just walk off and go sit on the couch or just ask Ashwini if there is anything she could do to help in the kitchen before she leaves for college. Today's living room did not have to escalate to this point. Sai should have ignored them and gone about her day. She does not have to answer back TO EVERY SINGLE TAUNT. And better yet, ignore them and walk off. Not stand there and listen to their crap. I guess she will learn with age but today's episode was just too much overload of drama.

The creatives need to balance drama with lightheartedness.

Finally, I absolutely hated how Virat said in the living room that he will talk to her just like she talks to his family members. Did he think of telling Bhavani to stop calling Sai jungli murgi? Did he not see again how all of them had surrounded her and ganged up on her? Why did he not take her hand and get her out of the living room to scold her in the privacy of their bedroom? Watching Sonali and Patraleka gloat was so

@bold I think she was loud initially not screaming. But she started screaming when Virat yelled "you'll teach me how to talk to my bua?" From there it just escalated too quickly and went out of control. I think we need to see it as a continuation of what happened in the last episode. @by_stander - To me from the beginning of the bedroom scene, Sai's tone was extremely contentious and she was unwilling to listen to a word Virat was saying, not even consider his words for a moment. Just because Virat was not agreeing with her method, she used the same tone with him that she does with the other family members. Family members deserve it, Virat did not as he even tried to explain why he thought her idea was not right. He also told her that he supports Sai for backing Shivani, but according to him her idea of bringing Amay to justice was wrong. I mean he is the police officer after all.

I completely agree here. I felt so bad for Viraat today especially in the beginning. He was annoyed with the phone call and then on top of that, Sai was extremely defensive and was quite rude if i'm being honest. I didn't see anything rude with the way Viraat spoke to bua either and I think bua understood when he told her that it was something between Sai and Viraat themselves. I'm kind of mad at her.. she needs to calm down in her approach atleast towards Viraat who has been quite supportive of her.

They both were equally wrong with their tones and behavior, although they both had the right intentions. Virat was going off on three different tangents in that conversation. First, it was how Sai spoke to Amey, next he was lecturing her about her tone with his family, then it was him disagreeing with her tactic to bring Amey to justice. He literally pinpoints her faults every step of the way just like his family. I think Ashwini does a better job at handling her than Virat. She makes Sai understand her faults at the right time, not immediately after the family drama. V needs to take a step back and give her some space to ponder and reflect on her actions. And Sai needs to ignore and walk off whenever she senses an argument brewing. Let's just hope they grow from all these fights, rather than just pointing fingers at each other.

Did you notice how MMK changed when Virat entered, like she was ready to go and PP also started behaving how much she cares.

That’s where Sai is lacking, these chakrams change their tone, words and expressions when they notice Virat but Sai is just Raw, she doesn’t understand manipulation. I hope Virat finds out the truth 😭
