KH said to Som and Aari they are finalist.
From Bala on he said saved. Don’t know if that has any meaning.
Before Shivani was eliminated Aari told, that they were told that there is going to be six finalist so only one will go.

I think with tomorrow’s episode we will know more.

KH tie looked nice 👍. Caller of the week - neutral question, neutral answer. KH about Virumaandi experience, nice to hear but he got little carried awat talking about his chella pillai. This is the second time he is talking abt virumaandi , though there is no direct connection still I sometimes wonder if KH sees his younger self in Bala and like his thimir , chellama.

Winning speech - Rio, Aari and Bala did good. Bala face was full of elimination fear. I was so moved to see his emotions after saved. It didn’t look like acting to my eyes, it just showed his vulnerable side. Aari hugging him first and kissing 👍🏼. All the HMs felt happy for him. Aana payapullaya vivasaayam panra alavuku maathiputarae entha Aari 😆.

Congrats to all the six finalists. They were all happy. Rio and Som, talking abt some people said they weren’t going to make finals , who are they 🤔 .Ramya was walking with pain, after effects of the task 😒. I am not liking the way Ramya calling Bala friend in a nakkal tone, these days. Kind of looks like indirect dig at Aari.

Felt sad to see Shivani crying. she thought she would go to final for sure. It is good she showed her true emotion rather than overacting to hide disappointment like Archana. KH praising her , Shivani’s mom should finally feel happy. Not sure, seeing the tiger mom (anyone read that book?) she is, she would be disappointed in Shivani not going to Final 😕.

Bala is upset for Shivani leaving but decent enough not to show over emotions. Shivani AV was good but it was little incomplete. Not satisfied like Aajeedh’s.
It is good Shivani left at this time with positive vibes and full of appreciation for her performance in TTF tasks. She never did drama or fight to get screen space. Never went out of the way to put someone down. She is so matured for her age. I wish her all the best and success for a wonderful career ahead 👍🏼.

By finalist they mean final week , I think. On the final day only two people will go to stage with KH.

Since there are 6 people , chance for one to leave either by suitcase or mid week eviction is more. Just to reduce the number of people getting eliminated on the final day.

@bold - yeah.. true.. but I am also thinking that maybe they may keep them all in until the final day.. Due to COVID, they may not be able to have a big celebration like they do usually.. so eliminating one by one, will give content for the show.. i.e. the video for each contestant, etc..

Felt like a rushed session this weekend, like Kamal was being impatient to finish it off. He didn’t focus a lot on the emotional aspects of the week also.

I’m surprised Shivani said she didn’t expect her eviction at all. Shows her age I guess. But good for her she got a good send off. The show tried holding her on until she got a moment of validation like this. Her AV wasn’t really good - I didn’t see any of her moments with Ramya, Samyuktha, Aajeedh in it, and her TTF performance wasn’t shown much. She was also someone pampered by everyone in the house, so there would have been nicer scenes to show from all that. Good thing they kept only the nice bits of her mother’s visit in the video though. I think her mother should be relieved...total dummy piece ah eliminate pannala. In my opinion Shivani chose the wrong method of trying to get by this show. It might have helped her sustain for weeks, but calls into question the type of contestants continuously being retained.

I’ve always felt Kamal is very nice to the very young female contestants. Felt this before with Yaashika and now Shivani. Could be because they remind him of his daughters. If there was no covid fear he might have hugged her today.

Only Aari, Bala, and Rio did the speech sessions well. And Aari (and Bala to some extent) showed the most confidence in his sample winning speech. Could be because of his experience doing audio launches before. Namma Baby vera vivasaayi ah maara poraar 🤣 The others all looked confused to project what qualities of their’s is worthy of a winner. If they don’t have the confidence in their winning abilities, then how would that inspire people to vote for them? Then there is no point wondering why other contestants are continuously being saved over some others.

Rio was purposely hinting at either Aari or Bala when he said “some people said I won’t be in the finals”. Not sure who it is, but so far Bala was the one who has said Rio doesn’t deserve to win. Don’t think Rio would have heard that statement though. Ramya’s “hi friend” is continuing for too long and is getting to a cringe worthy stage. Her outfit today was quite awkward, and maybe the skirt should have been longer to make it more proportional looking. It was a strange outfit choice in case she was expecting to be eliminated this week and meeting Kamal on stage. For the first time I like Shivani’s outfit and her accessories 👍🏼

I am excited for the return of the eliminated contestants. It’s usually boring to have the finalists just do sponsor based tasks for a whole week (they did that last year), and I’m curious to see how they all would be interacting. The only one I wouldn’t enjoy seeing is Suresh. I personally wasn’t a fan of his behaviour on and off the show, and he would try to ignite some fires inside/do a channel approved performance. I hope Anitha would be able to go - she was a true game changer and it would nice for her to get some moment to showcase that.

Now I’m doubting if they all will be going inside though. Archana, Nisha, Suresh have some videos of them being outside/giving interviews until about a week back. I saw somewhere today Aajeedh did a song recording recently. Would they all have completed the 2 weeks quarantine?
