Yeah, Bani needs someone who understands the lore and can actually help her. As much as I want to see her and Veer team up, he won't necessarily have the answers to the naagvansh-related questions, and Bani desperately needs to have those and get the upper hand over Jai. Exactly my point- I mean the cheels have shukla. Not that he helps but at least he has some knowledge that they rely on- whether he manipulates that is another thing.

Sidenote though - clearly new guy is not the new Jai, and Jai is not dead. But Mohit has not been seen on set in ages (unless they're hiding him for some reason)...what gives? I don't get that either- I think they might have been trying to confuse the audience and make us think the new guy is Jai because he was shot last week. I mean it wasn't a great attempt really 😆 The garden outfit gave away 😆 It could be that he is shooting at another location discussing his nefarious new plans with..himself? 😆 Nobody else really left 🤔 unless he takes shukla back 😆 He wasn't even in the precap or BTS after this week- unless he's got personal commitments and shot his scenes and we get his BD for tomorrows episodes.

Yeah maybe he shot his scenes already or maybe the focus for the next ep is just on this other dude and not Jai...I guess we'll see if he's back next week.

I feel like Jai has to be the final "big bad", and the villain to end the show with, if only to bring the whole thing full circle - Naageshwari/Bani killing her dushman, except this time the dushman is Jai and the soulmate is Veer.

So yeah, I hope Mohit stays, esp as I don't think this new guy is meant to be a long-term presence, just a "guiding force" in whatever way they're about to show us...

Just watched precap again and I defo think he's not evil per se- more grey. Reminding Bani of her duties as Aadhi Naagin and revenge. Looks like people that wanted a revenge track will get that- I am happy for them 😆 Also he confirmed it was a cameo- I think whatever his role is to warn her of the danger that is coming her way and preparing her for it as well. Because she is always blindsided otherwise. I also think he has nothing to do with Shivji at all - I am sticking to my angel of destiny theory 😆

Mohit is here to stay till the end and he will be the last person to die (if he does!) he smashed it today. He was a strong and psycho villain today- I really enjoyed his performance. And now that he has markaats power I think that expands the potential of his character even more. I don't know what I want more Bani to kill him for Veer- like Naageshwari killed Aakesh for Hriday. Or Veer just to kill him because I would enjoy that more 😆

I think for poetic justice, I would love to see Bani be the one to kill him. It would be a nice reversal of the way this story began.

I am not going to lie I loved the scream of pain he gave as well 🤣 Yeah the poetic justice would be perfect but I want Veer to fully have a chance to beat him properly as well 😆 Bani can then end it. End the story on the same lines with how it started- but this time with the right ending.

Matlab seriously cha gaye! I was like oh bhai saab! Kya kar dia tumne! Best tha aj ka. He totally stole the episode. Markat scene pe bhi and best that Panditain k saath scene. His acting was the best today. His expressions were awesome!

This is what I wanted from this character for so long; I never wanted dhabbewala to leave necessarily, but at least pick a side and let the audience know what that was 😆 I hope this side of him continues - I'd rather the "main" villain was someone we already know than them introducing a random new character, and this way, the story will have more impact, and almost certainly end full circle, i.e. Naageshwari killed Aakesh because he killed Hriday, but here perhaps Bani will kill Jai because of his betrayals against her and Veer. That would be a kind of poetic justice.

Yes couldn't agree with u more. Indeed Jay looked like the complete villain package today.That Goofy Dhabewala was gone & was replaced by a cunning & motivated villain with malicious intentions.

Still I would rate Jay as an overall grey character rather than a total villainous one.It was indeed ingenious of him to use the Trident to kill Markaat & gain her powers reducing that power gap with both the Aadi-Naagin & her mate Scavenger Prince when his meticulous plan of snatching Veer's powers & killing him failed due to Aadi-Naagin's smart tactics.

I don't know whether this Roohani Taqat is good or bad but I believe that Jay would continue to be an effective ally of Bani till he really gains an opportune time to kill her for her powers.Jay like a true Mastermind is just waiting for the right time to strike.

How will VANI deal with the cunning duo of both Roohani Taqat & Jay it remains to be seen?

Jay has indeed matured to be a compelling villain though he still quite a notch down from the level of Vish or Yamini.

Alsi I don't understand what is the purpose of keeping that Female Pandit if she's not able to alert Aadi-Naagin of the incoming dangers or future threats? The prophecy has been changed & Veer has got the blessings of Lord Shiva not once but twice bcoz of his mad undying love for Bani.

Lord Shiva wouldn't have blessed Veer if he did not see Veer going all the way risking his overall life & well being even in the process of going against his own Scavenger clan just to protect his love Bani.Veer has accepted her with all her faults & strong powers.

Jay would continue to be the Vikrant for Bani but whether he will really change that cannot be guaranteed.Vikrant changed his stripes but Jay has that mad passion for becoming the most powerful snake in the Naag-World.Jay's actions have been sharp & meticulous but is in the wrong direction.

His criminal mind could prove to be a great asset for Bani bcoz Bani so far is the only Naagin who doesn't have an effective backup like Shesha or Vish even though we have an untapped Sea-Princess Meera right in the Singhania Mansion. So Jay has to fill that role though Veer would always remain Bani's eternal shield.

Jai was awesome...markaat ke saath he was too good

His monolouges were perfect

He is improving at a faster speed

Infact, I knew he had the potential in him. Have not watched him before but his monologues ( his voice and dialogue delivery ) in few episodes did give me the feel that he too can give a better performance only if the Writers give him enough space, dialogues to showcase his talent but then they made him look like an extra. Was disappointed with the writers for not giving equal space as Veer. It would have clicked better. It is important for every character to shine and not just focus on one character alone as powerful. Barabar ki takkar can keep everyone hooked to see the challenges in actor and character. Would have been a treat for audience.

Have seen the clips shared by N5 fans and was glad to see him shining with his performance.
