The money reason makes no sense right now. If it was before the they revealed Prachi's real identity, then it would have made more sense. But now that everyone knows Prachi is Abhishek Mehra's daughter, why would anyone believe that she is doing it for money. If she wanted money and luxury, she would have gone to stay with her father the moment she got to know the truth. Instead she is still living her old life. So why would anyone believe this stupid reason. Unless then whole point of the reason was to make Ranbir suspicious. Then it would make sense.
