High class stone grinder

Can we gift a stone grinder or any grinder as equally high class as the chakrams to the chakrams? That way the DILs don't have to burn, cut, hurt, injure or torture themselves. Quick on and off switch and things are ready. SAi can go to college on time too after that, but CVS think we are in 1700 as they are. May all the male CVs get equally good torture by their own in laws, so they learn not to show such filthy things to the aundience.

Today also grinding stone is used in some Poojas where things r grinded on it by hands, not by electric grinder , even before using d grinding stone it is worshipped first , it's not old fashioned . My family do such things on bhai dooj but we grind pulses not mirch.

Here they used it to torture sai , so that she can't go to college

Sil batta is used even today and there is a reason what Kaku said is true that taste cannot be extracted in a mixer grinder because the misxer grinder heats up the spices and the flavour changes.

This is why normal.people who want to uses, use sil batta.

Chakram Chavans use it as a means to torture bahus esp the majli bahu.

What sort of people are they!? They don't even own mixie grinder when they can afford it!?

Why do they have that sophisticated kitchen with a gas stove in it!? Better they use firewood stove and cook outdoor to satisfy their taste buds like how they preferred stone grinded masala. They don't even need all that modern furniture in the house. They better sit and sleep on the floor to make it look more 'paramparik'.

There is nothing wrong with doing things in the old-fashioned way. There is nothing wrong in expecting that all the women of the house to contribute to it. That is the norm in most households. Here the problem is with the intent - which is not to preserve traditions, but to torture Sai.

If it was a matter of upholding traditions they wld not have taken the risk that one bahu may not participate. They wld have told Sai abt the puja & requirements a day ahead, and ensured that she wakes up early & finishes her part.

They deliberately sprung it on her last minute, because their only intent was to trouble her.

How i wish Sai would have said my menstrual cycle is going on.

Next time they would have kept her date in their mind before planning torture in the name.of something pious as bhoj for brahmins.

Seriously who uses such a pious thing like bhoj to torture someone!? On one hand they talk about punya and grah shanti and on the other hand they show off their worst side. Great! 👏Which god will really be pleased seeing such pious acts and bestow them with merits!? See how openly they stage their atrocities and cheap behavior. Not blessings they deserve only curses for what they have done today.

Stone grinders are traditionally used in my family during puja days . No outside spice or electric grinder allowed for cooking bhog. We're Bengali Bramhins and it holds good in our family even today.

It's just that they are doing all these with the intention of harassing Sai. Felt really bad for her today. First day of mbbs is unforgettable for any medical student and this is how she's spending it.
