Chapter 18
'Thud' 'Thud' sounds made Ridhima wake up from the bed for another day. While she wants to enjoy the rays falling in her room, someone at the door is being very impatient. She gets up and walks to the door to see Aliza in her tanks and tops saying,
"Get ready!
Ridhima: For what?
Aliza: For the match
Ridhima: Match with whom?
Aliza: King that everyone is being bored, so he arranged a couple of matches with the other leads, so get ready for that?
Ridhima: What I would do in the match? Ah, treat them?
Aliza (smirks) : Nada baby. You're part of the match. Come and down see as your name is given against some biggies whom you need to defeat, if not for your sake but to make sure you make King's team not to be defeated. So yes, Get ready"
says Aliza leaving Ridhima petrified with the details.
Ridhima came down in her gym clothes to check while the team is happy to see she is on the board. However, they are not happy how the Mafia leaders are gaping at her. They know how the bed business works in MAFIA, but one should understand she is part of King's team and that says a lot.
While Thailand Mafia leaders try to move towards Ridhima who is checking the notice board, while Sher comes in between and locks his eyes with him followed by the entire leader gang, which says more than his words -
"She belongs to King!"
However, there is one person who didn't expect to see Ridhima like that. He never thought she would be so damn hot and sexy in such clothes. She is checking the names and that means she is participating today, thinks Vansh while he said no be part of such games. He moves towards Sher, who is checking the arrangements and says,
"How could you add her name in the list?
Sher: Give me one good reason, why I shouldn't?
Vansh: She doesn't know how to fight
Sher: Oh? Then you don't know this new Ridhima"
says Sher while leaving the deck but Vansh catches him off,
"Don't you dare Sher, don't hurt her.
Sher: Vansh, you know nothing about the new Ridhima. Let me tell you a story then; The bird dares to break the shell, then the shell breaks open and the bird can fly openly. This is the simplest principle of success. You dream, you dare and you fly. Moral of the story is: Ridhima is the bird who is ready to fly and we have given her the wings which you chopped off. So back off"
says Sher while pushing Vansh to a side and smirks while turning back to Vansh.
Ridhima sees the notice board and finds that she needs to fight with the Peru leader Alejandro while she looks who it is, gets shocked to see a 6'feet tall man with a hulking body coming towards her. She takes a step back get to hit by the hard rock. The moment she turns she sees Vansh standing behind her and while Vansh stops Alejandro by showing his hand and the latter understands. After King and Sher if someone one shouldn't mess in the world of Mafia is Vansh Rai Singhania.
Vansh grabs Ridhima to aside and says,
"What the hell are you doing Ridhima? Do you even know what this game is all about?
Ridhima: It's just a fight, Vansh. Leave me, now
Vansh (smirks): Looks like, King's team didn't tell you. The one who loses in the fight needs to die."
Ridhima is shocked to hear this while Vansh understands she has no clue about this, so he continues:
"Ridhima, this the most brutal game in the world. It's not like what you see in movies or competition. The one who loses on this ring, cannot be part of Mafia and you need to take your own life because the loser cannot be the King. Now, you need to win or else you will die. So and cut your name from the list"
says Vansh while Ridhima moves towards Sher and drags him to a side making Vansh angrier.
Ridhima: Why you didn't tell me the rules of the game?
Sher: What rules?
Ridhima: The loser would die or kill themselves?
Sher: Who told you this?
Ridhima: It's not about who, is it true or not?
Sher: Yes
Ridhima: Then why did you hide from me
Sher (sighs): Ridhima, do you think you would die in that ring?
Ridhima: No
Sher: Then, problem solved. Ridhima, rules are for children. This is war, and in war, the only crime is to lose."
says Sher while leaving Ridhima in bewilder state about the participation.
Ridhima stands near Aliza while Richie can sense her tension; He reaches to Ridhima and while giving a side hug he says,
"Remember this darling, don’t do anything we would do while and don’t do anything we wouldn’t do. There’s a little grey area there, and that’s where you operate."
Ridhima looks at him and smiles understanding he wants to use her mechanisms to fight as everyone knows how King's team fight. Simple: - technique is the same but the mannerisms are new. She hugs Richie and gets into the ring which makes Vansh angry and worried while Aryan, Ishani reaches to the deck to see the fight along with Angre.

Ridhima has entered the ring while the King himself is seated with a wine in his glass to see to what extent Ridhima can prove herself today. Sher visits him asking,
"Does he need anything?"
King: Nada. I'm here to see the show
Sher: Sorry to ask Lord, but are you planning to hurt Ridhima?
King (smiles): Nope."
King gets up from his chair and walks near to Sher while eyeing at him he says,
"Sher, remember, it should be me who should hurt her. If I want to hurt her, I will do myself or ask you to hurt her. But not some mafia leader. Get that? And ah, who the hell hurts her, should be dead by tomorrow morning"
says the Debt Collector making Sher smirk and say,
"Sure, my King."

Ridhima is the on the ring. She can feel the attention on her skin. Ridhima stood against Aleandro but this is the first time she is facing someone apart from the King's team. And suddenly, she wants to run away. Ridhima feels everything has stopped for a second. “There was this constant urge in me to tear my insides apart, I didn't know why. By the time I made my mind that I couldn't do, there alighted the fear, haunting me with the words that rang constantly in my head, "You're not brave enough". I didn't feel devastated, I felt the urge to be devastated.”
King can see her expressions on the screen and the way she stood has rock. He can imagine what's happening in her head. However, he cannot step in now. If that's how she wants to face the things - so be done. He sits straight as rock and drinks the wine in one gulp.
Alejandro doesn't know what to do but he knows the rules. So he takes a step and punches Ridhima on the face while Vansh gets up and tries to march towards the ring, however, Sher stops her.
"Vansh: Leave me, Sher
Sher: You cannot Vansh, you are not part of King's team to switch with her
Vansh: How can you do this to her, Sher
Sher: In our attempt to make things right, we ruin them forever, Vansh. Go back to your chair. She knows how to get back on her feet
Vansh sighs and goes back to his seat while Ishani and Aryan are clapping with others making Vansh rage more.
Another side Ridhima is out from her fear state. She can see everyone is staring at her. However, she looked at one person whom she wants to see - Alejandro. She remembered what Sher said once, always have the taste of villain so you can give him the better taste and now she is ready to hit him back.
However, even before Ridhima stands on her feet, Alejandro - Peru Mafia leader cocked his pistol stood before her. He can smell her sweat. But while he lost in his thoughts, Ridhima stood up and curled her hand into a fist and aimed for the front of his nose. Her first hit the bridge of Alejandro's nose and his blood splattered all over the ring while achieving applause for her act from the King's team and pride in Vansh's eyes.
Ridhima hits Alenjadro again while he tastes his blood. She jumps to his height and hits head with her elbow while her fingers digging into his scalp and suddenly she slams her hand into his ribs while Alejandro winces. The pain ripples around his chest - while others are shocked to see this petite little figure can take down a hulky man.
The King's team rushed towards Ridhima and took her on their shoulders while Alejandro needs to die. So he took his pistol and killed himself while Sher stood before Ridhma, as he doesn't want her to see this and make her feel guilty.
Everyone who stood down had witnessed how protective Sher was towards her and how the great Peru leader got defeated with this girl.
"Well done, Riddhu. I'm proud of you. Now, that's how you play the game darling. You are in the ring Ridhima. Now, you have tasted the blood and I'm sure you won't be leaving the Mafia soon enough"
says the King while enjoying her success.
Ridhima and the team are enjoying the success while Vansh can hear others whispering,
"Hey, did you saw her? She got hit by Alejandro but then she doesn't flinch. Agree, she fell down but then why I cannot see tears or pain on her face?"
while others ask the same,
"Oh yes, we too didn't see any emotion on her face?"
"What kind of a person is she? This time King has got someone who is invincible, I think"
says others while Vansh is back to his thoughts, "What happened to her tears and why she didn't felt any pain?"

"Wow, Ridhi you have taken down the great Alejandro just like that. We are impressed the way you're moving progressing"
says Tarzan while hugging her.
Ridhima is uncomfortable with the praises but she corners Sher and asks,
'What is happening with me, Sher?"
Sher has no clue what she is speaking about so he asks,
"What happened, Ridhi?"
"Ridhima: Don't act as if you don't know. I can feel something different in me, Sher.
Sher: Different in sense?
Ridhima: How the hell I had knocked down the hulky person?
Sher (smiles): Ridhima, it's your stamina, training and all over above, the will to get back on your feet. We didn't do anything in this. I promise you, we didn't do anything, Ridhi.
Ridhima (sighs): It's not about you doing anything. Why do I feel my blood is rushing through my veins like, how should I tell you, I have this urge to...
Sher: Urge to kill someone?"
he says while looking at her with most scary eyes she has ever witnessed.
Ridhima says,
"Yes"
while Sher knows what happened with her. He immediately covers his expressions and says,
"Don't worry, after winning the first battle it always happens with everyone. Feeling for success and all. I understand. Now what you need is to have a good sleep because today evening, you have another competition"
says Sher rushing towards the door making rest also confused with this weird behaviour.
Sher rushes to the King's cabin while the Judge is all set to jump into the sea for the swimming,
"Lord, please wait"
shouts Sher which makes Debt collector smirk and turn back.
"What now? Sher"
asks the Kingmaker
"Ridhima has urged for the blood,"
says Sher while gasping and continuing,
"just like you, Lord"
while Alchemist smiles. Seeing the smile on his face, Sher understood that The Judge knows about this,
"how come this can happen, Lord?"
asks Sher
"King: why can't?
Sher: What is she to you, my King?"
asks Sher with dreadful eyes. He is now afraid of the man before him. He doesn't know this man at all.
The Major can smell fear of Sher, so he walks slowly near to him while Sher is taking each step backwards. Ever Sher thought he would take a back step but now he is scared for Ridhima more than him, "Did he did wrong by bringing her to this world?" thinks Sher
"Nope. You didn't do any wrong Sher. She belongs to this world and me"
says the Kings of the highways with a wicked smile on his face.
Sher hits to the wall, while the director reaches to his ear and says,
"She is my twin"
making Sher gasp. King can see Sher expressions changes to surprise to shock, even before he questions, Lord throttles his neck and says,
"Be calm, Sher. I'm not answerable to you. Remember this, don't reveal the truth to her and if you do, I will the entire team"
says the Judge and leaves Sher fall and takes a moment to breathe again.
Sher sees the retreating figure of the Lord and thinks, "I have never seen him in this way. He is the scariest man in the world. He still remembers the day when he saw on him. A grim-looking boy, carrying a naked sword with a blade about ten miles long in his hand, in the middle of the night, beneath the stars on the shores of River Ganga? I have thought seek professional help, but then it scared bejeezus of me. Since then, I know never touch his wrong nerve. But if Ridhi is his twin, then why the hell he called her his love, wife and all?"
"Don't think too much Sher"
shouts King.
"I and Ridhu share a very complicated relationship. Our is a very complicates story. It all started when we both were born. However, let's skip that part"
says the King with a most wicked smile making Sher sweat. He bows before King, however, the Judge stops and he says,
"Remember Sher, you're my representative. Over and above, Ridhu is everything. I won't hurt her"
says the Lord with most honest eyes that makes Sher nod his head and leave the room.

Richie is the first one to see worried Sher and goes to check on him. Vansh who is searching for Sher sees them together and hides behind the wall.
"Richie: Sher, what happened?
Sher: Nothing
Richie: Tell me, what happened. You are coming from the King's room. Did something happen? What are those marks, Sher?
Sher: I said nothing" shouts Sher making Richie take a step back
Richie understands he has learned something about Richie and Lord so he is behaving like this.
"Sher, whatever you have learned about King and Ridhi, believe me, forget it right now,"
says Richie shocking Sher to the core
"You know the truth, then?"
asks Sher
"Not entirely, but the truth is King avoided me to speak about it. Right now, I know he can hear us but then seeing you, I understand you might have learned something. So, listen to me Sher, whatever it is, forget it"
says Richie making Sher punch Richie
"How could you do this to her?"
says Sher
Richie sighs,
"There is nothing wrong with Ridhi. She is alright."
"Oh yes, she has the same feeling as the Lord"
shouts Sher while Richie controls him and says,
"Sher, remember this, they both are one yet not. I don't know the whole story but what I can say King will never hurt Ridhima. Trust me on this."
Sher nods his head and unable to digest the fact that very soon Ridhi will be having the qualities of King.
On the other hand, Vansh is Worried for Ridhima, "What is it? How come Ridhima is related to the King?'. While unknowingly, King has heard what Richie said and saw Vansh hearing to their conversation.
"Amazing! Whatever I want to do, these people are doing it naturally. Learn more about Riddhu and be afraid of her my team and Vansh Rai Singhania"
says King to himself in the cabin and takes a jump into the ocean to play with his favourite sharks.
