I have a question if Karan really loved Preeta how he performed all the marriage rituals thinking its Mahira during second wedding?

I wish instead of brutally humiliating Preeta for no reason writers have shown how Karan wasn’t able to get married to Mahira. at the last moment he would have confessed I can’t go through it.... but no, they made Preeta do a good deed and get humiliated after that and for what? nobody knows the reason why she got married to Karan... everyone thinks she duped karan because she is a gold digger and may be she wanted to exercise her right as Karan’s wife....I did not watch second wedding neither I was able to watch after first wedding when Karan leaves Preeta on road...and even before second wedding if Preeta confessed that yes I am Karan’s wife... Karan would have still gotten ahead with the wedding just out of vengeance as indicated when Police arrives for kidnapper and everyone thought Preeta called police... he said I will go with you post marriage...yes story was good till reception track... but it was not love but obsession... Karan is self destructive and obsessed with Preeta...he loves her for sure but doesn’t understand it fully...someone from this forum only wrote that Sarla had a conversation with Janki where she mentioned that what Karan has for Preeta is more than friendship but less than love...

It was to torture Preeta, gain ratings (it was high), make Preeta helpless to bring in strong Preeta aka "mein hoon Preeta Karan Luthra, Karan Luthra's legal wife" screw self respect, self worth and esteem... just to bring in Preeta in LH after 1 week of humiliation and crying

I stopped paying attention to dialogues of side characters since ghunghat wedding because they are meaningless after the track 😆

It isn't the same thing I know and I understand but I also thought how could Preeta, a traditional and cultured girl like her sit through the wedding rituals thinking it was Prithvi when all she could think was Karan.🤡🤡 sure it didn't click to the dumbo that it was some sort of emotional cheating . And according to Mahashivratri track, Preeta was repulsed by Prithvi's touch, what was he going to do after they get married? Bake cookies and tell bedtime stories?

well I agree it was emotional turmoil but she can’t do anything about it... this question is asked to Preeta multiple times by multiple people including herself that how can she marry prithvi when she doesn’t love him? why she always constantly thinks of Karan’s well being and get annoyed whenever Prithvi tries to come close to her.... but she always maintained she neither loves Prithvi nor she is attracted/attached to him... for her, this marriage meant happiness of her mother...she can do anything for her and whenever she saw Sarla feeling so happy watching her getting married to Prithvi... this is so important to her much more than her own happiness... If you have watched those confrontations with Srishti/Karan/Rishabh/Janki/even Monisha you will get to know why she was still going ahead with this wedding... at the back of her mind she always knew there is something wrong with Prithvi but she has accepted this as fate ....she wanted Karan to propose... she wanted Karan to come to her wedding... somehow she always wanted that Karan stay close to her... what those feelings are, though she was aware but she’s afraid to accept it... in multiple scenes whenever Karan was close to confessing his feelings she interrupted him or simply changed the topic for example when they were trying to locate billa’s phone... and half of the time Karan joked off his own feelings making her totally confused..(the haveli track scene)

plus till first wedding neither karan nor preeta has expressed their feelings fully .. they are not committed to each other officially.....preeta kept on searching for karan during her wedding.... karan never came in front of her before wedding....I believe if Karan stood up there and asked Preeta not to go ahead because he loves her she would have broken off the wedding or pleaded with her mother or argued with Karan but would not have gone ahead with the wedding.... (remember haldi dream sequence that she had) ....on the other hand during second wedding, Karan specifically kept Preeta in front of him just to torture her despite being legally married to her ....in some scenes it seems he wanted her to confess her feelings while in some scenes, he is just trying to hurt her and can go to any extent to do so....

That's why I said so many inconsistencies, scenes here and there. No follow up

This Karan and the Karan at wedding 2.0 are so different. Like overnight changed...makes no sense. I don't want him to hurt her and break her heart again but this change is out of the blue. Okay, I agree he loves her in his own twisted away but they could atleast show something like that... the best scene of a solo Karan after ghunghat wedding was when he was in his room realising that Preeta didn't leave him and will come back and when he gets the letter, his heart broke and went to hug Rishabh.

Old Karan would have never even ousted Preeta out of the house just like DD said in an interview if I'm not mistaken.

Old Karan >>>> Karan after Preeran breakup/ sehra wedding >> lukewarm Karan after ghunghat wedding.

The complete massacre and lack of screenspace and grey cells given to Karan is making me so mad.
