Rani never had a competition with Kiara. It's Kiara who compete with Rani.

Rani never wanted this marriage . Pre wedding for her Veer was her mentor and respected him just she respect her bauji. The accident thing only changed everything from her side.

Now CVS hardly work on their relationship too. They are more worried about Kiara and Jai.

For me he even questioned himself ,when Rani asked that question in the burnt scene . Now after the trauma they went at the temple and post marriage scenes he is having mixed feelings.
