Waise Shaurya did turn to look at Aastha first as she was walking away.....this shows that no matter how much he's hardened his heart against his mom, he still hasn't been able to get over her.

Waise so far the scenes have worked in showing Shaurya as this aloof guy so he isn't required to show much emotion or angst.....but aage jaake dekhna padega if he can handle the emotional scenes if his relationship with his mom is rekindled and explored. So far his expressions range between irritated and condescending.....lol even in Shagun's case, he looked more irritated than hurt at the engagement breaking. The main vibe emanating from his face constantly is bitterness....cuz most of his smiles are polite or fake😆.....dekhte hain if that evolves aage and if this actor can deliver some range.

Re: Rama and her husband.....ab kya karein, hote hi hain aise aadmi.....puri zindagi hi aise nikaal deti hain Rama jaisi ladies while husband feels entitled to keep barking at them. The part that is most sobering is ki baahar waalon ke saamne kaise affable banaa firta hai woh....lol and andar se he treats women like this.....sadly bahut log hote hain aise.

Yup the whole gidda setup was done very well. What I like is anokhi has a natural charm and positive vibe she isn't shown as zaroorat se zyada mature in the way they design her looks. Dekhte hain shaadi ke baad kya karte hain hopefully they won't make her a daai Amma all of a.sudden

The girl actually has a very sweet smile and yes, natural warmth and positivity hai uske face pe....so that's really working for her character so far. But yeah aage jaake hi pata chalega how long they allow that natural vibe to remain or it all goes swaha in LLHH or shaadi😆.

Oh that reminds me....I was wondering if Noor is Aastha ke ghar ka naam.....cuz it doesn't seem like she changed her name from Noor to Aastha when she left the house, but her husband calls her Noor....everyone else calls her Aastha only.....so she wasn't really hiding her identity.

I also realized ki Shaurya's parents ke names also start with "S" and "A"....Shaan and Aastha😆....and Aastha's nickname starts with an "N"....Noor.....uncanny coincidence that Anokhi's nickname also starts with an "N"....Nikki😆

The bottom line is women cannot be what they want to be unless there is majboori angle. They cannot just take a more ethical or moral stand, it has to be emotional. Or the women becomes selfish, career oriented, family breaker👍🏼 The main problem is the words we use to describe the assertive qualities in man and woman, for man it will be used in a positive sense and for woman always negative.

Shaurya ke views are ofcourse unlikeable but as a character, he is showing some layers in the way he conducts himself rather than doing typical tamasha.....he obviously has years of resentment built up and seeing his mom suddenly in front of him after so long and actually trying to give him explanations was not going to sit well with him......SM ke bete so toh koi comparison bhi nahin.....that guy is total trash. Shaurya ke problematic issues hain but he's not a monster like that Tarun.

Shaurya has really been thankfully different from the regular MLs who has troubled childhood. The best thing is he doesn’t go on a verbal tirade and actually puts his point forward and leaves. Whether we agree on it or not is a different thing. SM ka is a TRP beta😆

Re: the maa scene.....lol mere liye toh it was enjoyable cuz Shaurya was projecting all those taunts onto Aastha only even though he claims ki ab Devi hi uski maa hai.....he had this bitter smile on his face that showed that he fully blames Aastha for leaving him and supposedly not teaching him the things that Anokhi was taunting him for.

I just loved maa- beta scenes the way they were executed! The best was the way she authoritatively told him to watch his mouth as she is his mother. Not a dukhiyari maa act crying and begging for forgiveness, especially when the kid is crossing his basic sense of manners.

But it was surprising waise ki itni jaldi clear ho gaya ki kya equations hain......maa-beta came face to face, and Shaurya ne dekh liya first hand that his mom is Anokhi ki hero who has taught Anokhi the same kind of ideals.....toh he will be even more heavily prejudiced against Anokhi when she lands up in his Institute.

Lol so much word to this!!!!! I was so pleasantly surprised ke everything is out in the open 😲 I actually thought there will be a million hit and miss and a high voltage first face off. I was surprised would be an understatement.

Waise that family that came for Anokhi's rishta was kinda funny....lol but bechaari Rama ki itni buri haalat ki hui thi as she was scared about when Anokhi will return hom.e

Anokhis dad gives me very chilly vibes. He is a very abusive person🤢 The way he just presses her arm , the hatred and anger in his eyes was just too much to bear. The things that woman has to bear for their kids and their secured life is such a sad reality of our society.

WORD. The main point most ppl seem to miss whether it's the TRP junta or the pseudo-woke junta is the way the permission structure has been set up for women to navigate. TRP junta as well as pseudo woke junta ironically both get blinded by the same thing when they see an "understanding" husband who helps a woman navigate this permission structure toh inko lagta hai sab achha ho gaya.....lol everyone misses the point that what is the need for that permission structure to begin with? Why is there even a need for a husband to help a wife get "permission" to study and have a job? Like that DABH show that so many ppl claim was so "progressive"....lol cuz halwaai husband helped wife navigate a sasural where she should both make perfect mithaai as well as study for her IPS exams and that is how she becomes "ideal woman".....lol

The very fact that this "progress" is only considered acceptable if a husband or some other man is there to handhold the woman through everything.....lol if she tried to do it on her own, she would totally be called a selfish homebreaker as you rightly said. The very fact that society still can't manage to rise above this and view a woman as an individual who also has the right to dream and work towards her dreams without having to always ask for PERMISSION for every step....that is what stalls true progress.

And that is what this show seems to so far trying to portray....like so called "progressive" concepts on ITV are otherwise disguised and dressed up as pati is supporting wife so that she can progress so lo bhai equality achieved.....no show ever dares to show a woman actually taking a stance for her independence......the most they manage to do is show a woman leaving a guy for her self-respect if he cheats on her.....but never for the sake of her dignity the way Aastha did.

And you made such a good point about how it's never acceptable for a woman to take a moral/ethical stand unless it's for some other person or a man.....wahaan bhi it must be coated in emotions like selflessness to be justified....lol.....if she dares take a moral/ethical stand for herself, especially if she is married, she will be denounced for sure.

Yes, he's a very abusive person and sadly his kind is very prevalent in society.....he seems like one of those guys who totally views women as liabilities unless they help him profit in life somehow.....he treats his wife like crap cuz she birthed him two daughters even though she gave him a son too.....and his daughters he treats as liabilities that he has to pay dowry for and dispose of.....pathetic.
