Even ott apps content is also mostly abt crime, violence etc

There is one foreign show named skam (original norway version) which is remaked in 7-8 languages nd i have watched all 6bseasons of skam france where in each season they focus on different social issue by featuring one lead protagoinist nd all leads are present in all 6 seasons but only in their season they gets prime importance each season focus on one particular issue like body shaming, racism , religion indifference, gay relatiinship, lesbian relation ship , cheating in relationship etc

That type show is really needed in itv nd fir that we really need youth channel where todays youth can relate to channel shows

I agree with you that the SUBJECTS that you have pointed out are absolutely necessary for the ITV audience,

But Star Bharat like Dangal was PRIMARILY LAUNCHED FOR THE RURAL AUDIENCE!

Don't you think these subjects are too SENSITIVE for the RURAL POPULATION?

Will it be ACCEPTED by them?

So, realistic romantic stories are not present in the ITV not because of the GECs but thanks to the MENTALITY OF THE ITV Viewers and the PRODUCERS!

• Some fantastic mystery thriller that wont go around shit politics like netflix and prime. The execution will be like hollywood series shows that run for seasons and audience stay hooked to them. For eg Gossip Girl, Pretty Little Liars, The Vampire Diaries, Legacies, The Originals etc.

That Concept again has been DAMAGED TERRIBLY in our ITV thanks to our NAAGIN SERIES!

• A proper medical drama that focuses on entire team and their daily lives. How they cope up in dealing with their patients.

Star did try with Sanjeevani series recently, but people who watched it would know how they later turned the story to be!

Colors had launched a medical drama Savitri Devi College & Hospital, God, don't get me started on that HORRIBLE STUFF! 🤢

• Then some unique topics that surely need to knock at tv now. LGBT topics with a mature story telling.

I know we will get them one day but then rating system will have to change only then it will be possible. 😭

Juhi already said how a SERIAL like Dil Sambhal Jaa Zara (which is was one of my favorites) was accepted by the ITV viewers, do you think the same people can accept content with LGBT and MATURE topics?

So, it's not just the FAULT of the TRP SYSTEM OR THE CHANNEL, it is also the MENTALITY OF THE VIEWERS, so along with these two, even the MENTALITY of the ITV viewers should change!

Only then the CONCEPTS that you HAVE MENTIONED above can BE PRODUCED IN A JUST MANNER in ITV

Now they will show the male lead's redemption by cutting his face. Rubbish.

Regarding pinjra I don't think it's a good serial . It's so much toxic and after doing domestic violence they are showing him romantic ?? Seriously this type of show should be off aur and banned on the category of domestic violence !

Indian television needs to revamp their writing skills . They need to move on saas bahu saap bijju etc topics. Bring something new currently Sab , and tv and sony tv is showing the best serials apart from others.

Currently I hooking too kaatelal and sons what a show . I thought Barrister Babu would be the best but shashi sumeet ph ruined it . Don't know what is wrong with them they can't execute their show properly ! Every serial of them looks creepy and annoying

Even Sab TV going bad. According 1 friend on twitter they destroyed Bhakarwadi. In Balveer, they shown Sr. Balveer dead and his soul trying to talk to Jr. Balveer. Don't know if he is really alive or dead. In Aladdin, they ruined the story and butchered 3 male positive characters including Aladdin while Yasmine is made into a joke. Aladdin now doing things which are wrong and not so Aladdin. I had to quit watching from last Monday after exact 28 months of show on air as the show and Aladdin character can never be same for me as he is doing cheap things. Tera Yaar Hoon Main which was promoted as friendship of father-son is only showing family drama. Now to increase ratings they are killing son's mom played by a famous actress and another famous actress is coming as new woman opposite the father who is also a famous actor. Is this father-son friendship show or new love and new mother show? How can they kill a character in a show supposed to be of comedy theme? Please don't trust Kaatelal show much as you too can get hurt later. If the channel did not spared a kids family fantasy show like Aladdin then it won't take a second for them to mess with Kaatelal.

They can rebrand star bharat into urban centric yoith channel by giving different name.....before star bharat life ok was also urban centric channel but after rebrand they made ut into rural centric channel so same can be done again with rebranding

Star is now acquired by disney which is profit driven company they only wants profits nthing else....if they dont get profit they will shut down channel so it doesnt matter if star is rich neywork or not so i dont think they will launch one more GEC

Earlier case was different fox was not profit driven company they used to invest for long term so they never shut any channel.....instead they used to only rebrand

I dont mind shutting channel like star bharat nd rebranding into youth centric channel(as right now they dont have anything great nd nthing is working for them)

Oh god @Aleya I was a viewer of Sanjivani 2019 pls i request you dont remind me of that terrible shit !!! 😂😂😂 It was a nightmare in the name of medical drama. 🤮🤮🤮 It was suppose to be something like Grey's Anatomy and The Good Doctor but the channel didnt liked 1.3 ratings they wanted to boost it more. Like ek toh they brought a medical drama at 7:30 pm and dusra they expect rapid high ratings from it. They inserted sudden romance into the plot and the show which had 1.3 ratings turned into a 0.4 ratings show with its romantically BIZARRE story. 🤢

PS - Recently Gurdip said in her IV, Siddharth Malhotra doesnt want to work with Sp right now as Sanjivani 2019 didnt got executed like how he wanted. She said channel didnt had any expectations with Sanjivani and then why did they even brought it.

And OMG Savitri devi... 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Its a most HORRIBLY BIZARRE medical drama i had ever seen on ITV. Seriously only ITV producers and channel has the ability to flawlessly ruin their own shows. I remember they brought Arshi Khan who played a chudail !!! Wt f !!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
