New here and about Virat though before marrying Sai

I am new here.

Was watching the episodes now.

In the episode when Sai comes to Virat house in Garchiroli to ask him not to marry her. During the conversation, Sai asks about Pakhi. And the moment she takes Pakhis name virat remembers his vada to P that he will not love anyone and he says it loud.

It looked looks he is saying it to himself here ans reminding himself that vada. Maybe he has already started liking Sai and this was assurance to himself.

Even Sai, if not love him now, she respects him. She was also indirectly asking nd understaning his relation with P and what he feels for her.

And the whole conversation after that was both trying to assure themselves reather than each other

Well, Virat had left Pakhi's wedding to go for Sai-bachao mission in GC. He was very vulnerable at the moment, having lost the so-called love of his life, and Sai was a pleasant distraction, IMO. Even though he might not have harboured feelings for Sai at that moment, since he was very much in "love" with Pakhi, what I think is that he did have a soft corner for her, a certain liking, which didn't amount to love for obvious reasons. I don't remember clearly, but during the warehouse scene when Virat goes to meet Sai (I have my own issues with that particular sequence due to the use of a body double for Sai, and the inconsistent shots), he had said something along the lines of ..that he wasn't there to meet her because it was his duty, but rather because of his concern for her. Then that famous disconnect wala dialogue was also very telling in this regard, depicting his feelings of care and concern towards her.

Post-wedding toh these feelings have only amplified and rightly so. For the sake of brevity, I'll refer to today's episode only. Virat calling her cute and imitating her is proof enough of his inclination towards Sai.

Yes during that warehouse he does mention about concern and say its not duty.

There conversation is so natural n lively.

While with P, it was so unreal, especially dancing round that bonfire.

If virat had met Sai first, he would have proposed by now
