Good morning sisterhood!
There was nothing 'significant' in this dialogue on the face of it but it had me going in a tangent of thought 🤔. Since it comes from Patralekha who is voicing her "takleef" of seeing her 'true love' with someone who's actually going to truly love him.
The dailogue:
'Tum Ruk Sakte Ho'
Followed by the longing gaze through the mirror and the crestfallen response to a genuine 'Thank You'.
An offer that didn't sound indecent but could have well been-- would we know? We can only assume. (I am not implying that she meant it 'that' way but her overall intention has been such that the choice of words makes me wonder) Adding: Also, the 'tum Ruk Sakte ho' could imply asking him to stop this drift towards Sai, his wife.
As expected Virat wasn't going to take the 'offer', knowing that he has been conscious about maintaining the distance. Also, because he doesn't understand 'ghuma fira ke ki hui baatein'. He didn't take it as a cue anyway. He was just there to say 'thank you' -- the eagerness to express gratitude was perhaps more, because he thought, finally, PP would also be able to deal with the circumstances 'maturely'. (I wanted to add "like Sai" but I won't. Kyunki Chavan saheb Ka ek worth-its-weight-in-khara-sona wala dialogue Yaad aa Gaya - Har cheez me Sai se apni tulna karna bandh Karo)
Tulna ho bhi toh kaise? Ek uska bharosa hai jo itna gehra ki apne aap ko tumhare hawale karke bhi haq nahi maangta... Aur ek uska aitbaar tha, ret ke mahal jaisa, ek leher aayi aur muntasir ho gaya...
There are a range of emotions one would feel after a failed relationship-- Denial, Blame, Negotiation, Depression and Acceptance.
To begin with, their's was not even a relationship but as someone pointed out on one of the discussion threads -- sometimes some people find "THE ONE" and are so deeply attached to the idea that they can't move on. I am still not sure if Patralekha really thinks of him as "THE ONE" or is just badly raised by her parents to believe that anything/anyone she lays her eyes on is rightfully hers and she can continue to seek it. Because if someone is 'THE ONE' for you and you have any kind of love, would you be okay to see them suffer, let aside holding a grudge when they break a promise made to you that they will 'suffer' for the rest of their lovelessness.
But it is clear that Virat has moved on much better. Yes, he did look at her through the mirror but I did not see the "pull". Rather, I saw it as a fleeting glance and immediate realisation of who he was looking at -- someone he had indeed let go of.
First PP: Would you all agree if I say PP is on stage 3 of her heart break - Negotiation?
She has gone through denial and blame. The stage of denial ended when Virat married Sai. She then began the blame game, to send him on the guilt trip and to desperately try to make him admit his fault. With Virat asking her to go to her room and her decision to leave the house, she has realised that the blame is not working either. So now, it is the negotiation -- what can she ask for in return of what is needed from her.
In the situation they are in, with Virat being a 'son of the house' first, PP has her hope in the fact that Virat will negotiate with her just for her to "stay back", whenever she cites threat from her nemesis and stop her from leaving. And in the course of that Negotiation, she will also latch on to any tiny hope if she perceives the 'leftover' love that he may feel for her. But a negotiator needs a tool - PP's tool is "Tumhari Biwi". She's going to use this tool to find her way through all negotiations, using the tool to bargain with the power house of Chavan mansion, especially now that it is evident that Bhavani will willfully support any demeaning of Sai because it is evident to everyone that Virat has moved on -- from the vaada and also the farz.
It must be for a reason that we don't see Virat having any sort of flashback memories of PP or even the vaada. In fact, over the last few days, his eyes seem to search for Sai when he returns home -- trying to silently gauge if there has been tension in the household that she may have faced alone, and to take in some of that inescapable warm spark that she has within her. He's not affected by PP's vaada as much any more and he has unconsciously taken the step ahead from the 'farz'. On the exterior, it will remain a 'farz' but it is the state of unconscious love -- this is different from 'being in love'. The being in love stage will come when both of them form the deepest attachment but we can't deny that there is already "love" engulfing them and waiting to seep into the space between them.
So, the second arresting dialogue "Khush hoon" has many meanings.
Of course, Chavan Saab is now giving 'goliyan' to everyone around him to diffuse their insecurities about Sai so he tells PP, "Khush hoon kyunki usne Kar dikhaya..." Would PP even have the understanding of what this little happiness means and how much it can soothe a heart?
But the 'khush hoon' is much deeper and it has nothing to do with PP's return. The 'khush hoon' is visible in his eyes that look for Sai's reactions, the half-smiles they exchange and only the two of them know why, their famous 'head nods' that have been discussed (understanding this head-to-toe body language for non verbal communication is a must for every husband and wife 😅, they are natural at it 😄)
Sai, unknowingly, has been the biggest reason why Virat moved on from PP as fast as he did. I have repeated this so often and it's only evident now that apart from his own resolve to do whatever it takes for his family combined with his conditioning as a police officer to be able to detach and let go, it was Sai's presence around him that really gave him the constructive distraction that he needed to overcome the heartbreak.
Pakhi's steady progression to the stage of depression is inevitable. In her obsessive need for the negotiations with Virat, she will find allies in those who will push her over the edge of the precarious cliff when the need arises. I don't see any other way for her unless she let's go of her obsession and sees the reality behind the heartbreak that is the source of her lacerating drama and pain.
Uss bikhre huye ret ke mahal ka bhi ab leher me beh jaana hi theek hoga...

Who else is as excited as dew-drop Sai for her results?
Answer: Chavan saheb 😂
But he's not nervous about the result. He knows kya hone wala hai... he has to ready to fight another battle with the orthodox inmates of the Chakram niwas.
And the foreboding : "Tai mujhe pata chalega ki aapka Pati Kaun hai, toh main use bhi le aaungi... " 😰 Sai, Sai.. you don't know what you just have promised that blessed soul.
Obviously loved the uski topi mere sar wala scene 😅 it's so symbolic because it's the first time she tried on his peak cap but to play Aaba for her adorable mono-act... There will come a time when she will be so proud of him that she will actually put it on, haq se, as his 'much better half' 🥰
So waiting for pink balloons and buddhi-ke-baal. More than the pink balloons, it will be worth waiting for the ballooning egos to burst 🤯
Aaj ka samachaar samapth 🙊. If you are also in a cold-wave zone, then sending some fuzzy warm coffee and sunshine your way. ☕
Mujhe itna sar par chadhane ke liye, manapurvak aabhar 🙏 🥰
Have a lovely day!!!
Love you all❤️
Hello! I just love reading your insightful and nuanced analyses of the episodes. It is like, watching the episode for another dimension and gaining an insight into the characters' minds.
1. Okay. So, coming to today's episode, I completely agree with what you've written about the Virat-Pakhi convo. I had just written about this in some other post too that there is a stark contrast between Virat looking at the two ladies in his life, and that it is a depiction of him moving on from the remnants of a love that was once so dear to him, but now has been withered and long lost, to a new revitalised one, that's actually full of life and love alike.
2. Also, Pakhi's "Tum ruk sakte ho Virat" to Virat, instantly reminded me of Virat's "Thodi der baad chali jana. Itni bhi kya jaldi hai" to Sai.
A parallel can be drawn between both the scenes to show how both Pakhi and Virat now want two different people to stay in their lives. While Pakhi's request to Virat is a futile attempt, unheeded by him, Virat unknowingly and unconsciously has replaced the longing in his heart for Pakhi, with love in his heart for Sai, and wants her to stay.
3. OLT! Sai donning Virat's cap had one additional meaning for me. Maybe, it also reiterated the fact that how Virat has now (figuratively) stepped into the shoes of the person who once meant the world to her-her Aaba. How he too would hold the same significance in her life and her heart.
P.S. I so so love the way you address everyone in your posts and also the way you end your posts. This creates a sense of familiarity and amity, generally, and for me in particular, because this reminds me of one of my college friends. She had a quite similar way of addressing her friends.
Sorry for digressing. Thanks for bearing with me. :)

English translation for this please
I just wrote it off my head so loosely translating:
How would you compare? On the one hand, is the her, who has such unfathomable trust that she's handed herself over to you without even asking for what is, thus, rightfully hers... And on the other is she, whose little faith 'scattered' like the fragile sand castle built on the edge of a small tide.
Now, it is best if the pile of sand, which the castle has been reduced to, flows away with the waves crashing into it.

like u said the next stage awaiting pakhi is depression
will she turn more gray.you implied in yesterdays post abt bhavani that physical torture of sai is next.will paakhi get involved in that too.
so my question is will severe depression make paakhi pull sai into the dark void of her own making.yesterdays promo implies that.paakhi trying to squash sais dream.
Also i too get a feeling watching todays episode that virat is slowly taking her fathers place in sais life Isn' it dangerous bcoz abba was her whole world and she was secure in her abbas love but virat though falling in love is confused about his budding love.poor sai.i feel sorry for her
what do you think about virat fulfilling her wishes like kamal dada.please give me a reply
thank u
Here my few take away from today's episode
1) The Connecting link: First scene between Ashwini and Sai, where she could see how much her DIL thinks , cares and understand her son. So, if in future Virat baba will have confusion whether Said loves me or not. His Aai will be there to clear his confusion and make him realize what he means to his wife.
2) Friend zone : Scene 2 Virat enters his house with his searching eyes. Karishma asks " are you looking for PP". And he replies " no sai" indicating PP doesn't matter to him anymore but the precedence has been taken by his beloved wife. Now PP is freindzoned as in next scene he just says " Thank You" while entering her room. He is not carried away by her sensuous avatar anymore. He goes to meet PP in her room for he knows wifey will not like it. Slowly he has started maintaing a distance
3) Challenge : Virat happily says that it was due to his wife PP is back. But when wife denies taking any credit, his smile says it all. Devi, asks Sai to bring her husband back and she nods. Ninad says not to interfere, but Virat takes a stand. TMK has been watching this silently to make her next move. She fears her dark secret may be out with Devi . And with that comment " Joru ka ghulam" she knows her favorite son is slipping away from her hands . She takes it as a challenge to separate the two love birds
4) Musk Mellon : With Shivani comment on musk Mellon it is evident that Virat is changing . And she threw an open challenge to TMK indirectly today, see he is no more in your side now. Rok sako toh rok lo.
5 ) Cute : Virat has been watching his wife carefully and today by seeing her antics. He himself became kid. ( Just as Geet said in jab we met tum toh bilkul mere jaise ho Gaye ho) yes he becames himself in front of his wife only. And her antics, he finds her cute, and is happy to be with her(in PP room he says mein kush ho on). Somewhere, you can see he is falling in love with the cute angel he sleeps besides him.

Aapke jaisa koi nahi ❤️
Amazing post as always @jankiraghav!!
What I love the most about reading your posts is that you tend to focus on and deconstruct the scenes and characters that I don't pay much attention to. I look forward to scenes with Sai and her dynamics with the rest of the family but my mind wanders elsewhere when only antagonists (PP, Kaku, Ninad) are on the screen.
But you analyse the scenes that I ignore so well, that it gives me a new perspective and the patience to deal with their antics on screen.
Janki, kya likhti ho yaar. Maza aagaya padh kar. Amazing and absolutely on point!

So beautifully said! It's true that he is never in a hurry with Sai. There is visible sense of search for Sai that one can see in him. He just wants to give his time to Sai.

It's going to be such a complex breaking down of barriers. I just wrote that today on Anamika's post .... But the process of leaving those undone one by one will be good.

like u said the next stage awaiting pakhi is depression
will she turn more gray.you implied in yesterdays post abt bhavani that physical torture of sai is next.will paakhi get involved in that too.
(Spoiler) As per other versions, she will and that is when Virat will even warn her to back off.
so my question is will severe depression make paakhi pull sai into the dark void of her own making.yesterdays promo implies that.paakhi trying to squash sais dream.
I won't say that negativity doesn't have it's effect on someone receiving it. It does. But I don't think beyond eating into her energy to an extent, Sai will be pulled into a dark void because ultimately she will have Virat with her. At the end of it, they will conquer it. We're just watching how they will. PP will never be strong enough to quash Sai's dream. Sai is strong at that and Virat will not let that happen. Because more than Sai, it is Virat who wants her to pursue her dream. And that is a fact. Sai would have given up if Virat hadn't encouraged her to recall her Aaba's dream
Also i too get a feeling watching todays episode that virat is slowly taking her fathers place in sais life Isn' it dangerous bcoz abba was her whole world and she was secure in her abbas love but virat though falling in love is confused about his budding love.poor sai.i feel sorry for her
I don't think there will be any confusion about that. They are both inclined towards romance. It is natural that she will refer to Aaba for any comparison because he was the only one she had anyway. Now again her world will revolve around Virat although she has a bond with Ashwini too but it is because of Virat. Her "wo Aapke bete Hain Aai" is true. If it were not for Virat, she wouldn't have had this mother or a namesake family. But in Virat, she will find an actual family that will be equal to the whole new world. Whenever it's new it's confusing but they will clear the fog of their thoughts over their feelings slowly. That's what I feel.... In fact even for Virat, he says she's a bachchi but a string in his heart already feels the pull towards the woman that she is
what do you think about virat fulfilling her wishes like kamal dada.please give me a reply.
He will see it as an opportunity to make her happy. At the moment they are not in a romantic sphere so whatever is exchanged and offered is purely friendly love and affection. But they will cross the line sooner. I don't see either of them viewing this relationship as father -daughter replacement. They know they are in a marriage. That's why the talk about 'spousal' duties ki ummeed mat rakhna has already happened.
thank u
