This is a mad family they don't think before talking for example TMK she thinks she's a sort of queen and everyone by hook or by crook needs to OBEY to her so in a way the elders of this family have no respect for what to wish or expect from the youngsters.

Although virat has the looks, and samrat has the more light and endearing personality (not to say samrat isn't handsome but just out of the two virat is the one whose looks you can't ignore and any girl would immediately notice), does samrat have virat's same ability to be able to stand up to his crooked family for the sake of his wife and what is right or is he just another subservient family member who says nothing and just follows orders?

Here's the thing. Imagine if I was to pick between both the boys on basis of first look, I would pick virat because he is the most good looking (again my man samrat is handsome too), but if I somehow could read both their minds and see the shit that was in virat's, I'd be like "Nope, ain't nobody got time for that" and pick samrat. But then if I could see the future and see how both would treat me if I was to be their wife, if I see samrat stood like a statue when I am being repressed in the name of tradition and having certain freedoms, rights and desires taken away from me, then in contrast see virat arguing my case with the family, wouldn't I pick the husband who can be my voice in the house when my voice as a woman is deemed invaluable?

I say this only because I can just tell samrat, even though he definitely is not a drama king or mean like omkar, ninad or mohit, samrat to me still seems as subservient to kaku as anybody else in that loony bin. Only virat is the only person who seems to have any real ability to reason with kaku and get her to listen.

I don't think we have any solid evidence to know for sure that he is subservient to kaku. He might be, but we don't know enough about him to confirm it. In fact, to me, he seemed a bit more genial than Virat. Virat seems to follow everything by the book, but Samrat seems to be a bit more loose with following rules. For example, when he came back from his post, the first thing did was to eat food without freshening up, and then doing pranam to kaku without washing his hand. I can't see Virat doing such a thing. Samrat was also very cheery and fun with everyone in the family. Hopefully, when he comes back we will get to know more about his character. Right now, Virat has just set the bars so low for me, that any guy would be better than him in terms of moral and ethical values.

He actually did say that he didn't believe in these "shagun and apshagun." He stood up for her and in fact the whole family was supporting Pakhi in that matter. But kaku living with her regressive values did what she thought was right.

Yes I wondered the same that's why I asked does samrat have virat's same ability to be able to stand up to his crooked family for the sake of his wife and what is right or is he just another subservient family member who says nothing and just follows orders. I think for me that would be a deciding factor, but I feel like we may actually never know about this side of samrat and if he does openly question the family's norms and behaviours that seem obviously wrong. Because till now samrat beats virat in being a people's person and more outgoing.

Friendship to them means acting like friends in front of friends and family including spouses then get intimate during the night....they are two disgusting people and here the most is Pakhi who has a sulking face as it is her lust which is fixed in her mind.

Well she can invite Virat at anytime because he's her lover.

They question only when Bhavani questions. Otherwise those questioning Without her consent are fobbed off as insecure and irrational. Bhavani isn't questioning for reasons that we'll surely get to see now... But of course it doesn't gel with their 'kaafi traditional' and kaafi rigid Soch in any way to have the approval.

Are the Chavan's so westernized they can't afford oats TMK does not know the value....

THEN????

Sorry but First of all pleasedon't call her Jhansi Ki Rani. It's an insult to Rani Laxmi Bai.

Pakhi has been coronated as Maharani of Maturegardh.

In this family they do not think because they don't have brains.

It was only Ashwini who observed Virat and had asked him if there was another reason dor him to leave Samrat's wedding other than going to save Sai.

Chakram nivas has different rules for people they do not consider of their level.

Karishma can't get oats but if even Pakhi wanted to eat gobar it would be served on a silver platter . Pakhi ke liye kuch bhi.
