I sort of liked today's episode for two reasons

1) There were many viewers who use to complain Sai being straight forward, rude, disrespectful towards elders. Today, they got to witness how the Chavan family treats here even she is mum. Then how can expect the other party not to react?

2) Yes, Bhavani will use PP to instigate her against Sai. and break Virat- Sai bond. PP will happily obey her in her obsession. But for Virat protecting honour of his wife will also be his zimmedari. Hence , with no option left he will drift away from PP and her mature goody image

I forgot to add another point, Bhavani has understood Pakhi's narcissistic tendency so well! Which is why she has become such an easy pawn! Like it doesn't occur even for second to PP to question why she is being showered with so much love and attention? Why is someone who is so used to having people bend to her will and dictating others is all "Hello Sunshine" with her.

To Bhavani, both Sai and Pakhi mean nothing. I won't waste words on her dislike for Sai because we all know her reasons - casteist, classist, racist, power struggle, false sense of honour etc. --Much of this she even repeated today. But even PP/TP (I am so tempted to now call her TP- ek toh episode becomes timepass with her extra footage + Keshni just named her Toxic Didi 😆 and she is turning Toxic from today on, it is evident) means nothing to Bhavani as a person. PP's honour or emotions are not really of any concern to Bhavani, no matter how much she would say it aloud. Although PP might feel 'important' because of Bhavani's backing, the truth is that Patralekha is Bhavani's 'trophy bahu' -- she is the perfect cover for all her sinister intentions and Bhavani also knows that PP is not as 'susheel' as she appears. Bhavani has shown extreme restraint with PP despite their initial face-offs when PP did challenge her authority but had backed out for the fear of losing her chance to be kareeb to her 'true love'. At that point there was no Sai, but Bhavani saw potential in PP to be her weapon when needed. It is easy to manipulate someone who lacks the innermost morals and has a weakness too, she knows.

In absence of any other 'bahu' who comes close to being "the choicest" one, PP by default is whom she favours. And with her "sabse chaheeta" beta slowly falling for her "sabse nalayak" bahu, she is going to use PP/TP as a pawn for her own power game. We might think that it is PP who is going to play the game. But no, it will be Bhavani who will use PP's toxicity to attack Sai and also, yes, to separate Sai from Virat.

Bhavani is like a slow poison. On the exterior, you feel she's just this authoritarian matriarch who is rigid and uncouth -- there are many such women who really have no ill feelings or malice but are still inflexible because of their orthodox thought process. But no, Bhavani is not a pure-hearted orthodox. She is malicious and she has many motivations to treat people the way she does. Apart from PP being the legal nominee to "Samrat's money", Bhavani knows that it is PP who can become the weapon to separate Virat from this undeserving bahu, whom he is fast falling for. Her perceptive eyes can see that Virat is fast slipping away from her grip.

Hilarious that she thinks she can seperate sairat🤣 they are already into eachother . Its just matter of time now .

So far, we have been wondering how Bhavani lets the whole Virat-PP relationship talk in the open just slide, without any kind of reaction -- for or against.

But it is now evident that in her silence, she has been watching and calculating her moves before she can vocalise her stand on the issue. Just like, she totally turned the talk about Samrat's money in front of PP and her uncouth father (oh man, you have the cheek to tell the WHOLE family that you hate Sai? Where was ACP Chavan?) with her "Mansi ko koi kami nahi hai", when in reality the entire conversation with Ninad was about "keeping the money at home"!

The precap - Patralekha, dekho toh Virat abhi tak kyun nahi aaya?... it is the writing on the wall that she will try to push PP to attempt to create misunderstandings between Sai and Virat because of all the people in the house it is only Ashwini and Bhavani who know that Virat is very fond of Sai. But for Bhavani, it goes against all her pseudo-pride as well as her 'interest' - which is intertwined with the false pride. She does not like Karishma either but with Sai, her level of dislike is at another level because Sai challenges her authority, which no one else, including Virat, has ever done.

Doesn't she love Virat and Samrat, who will both suffer the consequences of this sinister plan in the making? Of course, they will. Collateral damage is inevitable in any attack - whether by the aggressor or by the protector. But then, she is a woman who has not flinched a muscle on her face before reducing her bubbly daughter to a mental child-- crippled, ridiculed and confined for the rest of her life. If she is indeed the biological mother of Devyani, then it is telling about her motherly feelings for any one of those children in the Chavan clan.

While eventually Virat and Sai will conquer all the scheming, despite their share of misunderstandings and Samrat, may or may not return --the one person who will actually be thrown in a black hole to the point of no-return will be Patralekha. I do feel sorry; for her brains blinded by her own ego trip. She will not be able to see that she has actually turned a pawn on the chess-board, on which she considers herself one of the warrior queens.

She definitely bought it for herself in ego and obsession!

I can't wait for Bhavani's revelation and Kishore Sahane is a graceful actress.

Jaate-jaate, Chavan saheb, sometimes aapki buddhi and perceptive skills ke chhote chhote darshan ho jaate hain. So the moment you learnt that Sai had visited PP's house you knew she must have swallowed insults. "Kisi ne koi badtameezi toh nahi ki na?" Ab jawab pata hai toh sawal kyun poochte ho? Your eyes when Sai said, "Kyun ki maine aapse wada kiya tha.." spoke volumes - the gratitude, the unsaid apology and the sheer admiration for the selflessness of the girl who is standing in front of you without demanding anything from you

Neil is one fabulous actor!!!! He makes me wonder everyday . He is just perfect with everything !!!!!! The slightest of the emotions are also very well portrayed by him❤️

You mentioned how Bhavani has wanted to control Pakhi, but then toned it down. Only, she will fail to see that her own actions will drive Virat further away from even a 'friendship'.

I don't know if she is capable of loving anyone. I don't think any mother incapable of loving her own child can love anyone else. Virat and Samrat are a matter of pride for her, they boost her ego and kind of fulfill the "lack" that she feels she has in her heart.

Exactly! I can't bring myself to think what extent she could go to harm Sai if need be, when she has reduced her daughter to a wreck.

I despise the father more than PP/TP now. I initially quite liked his character and expected him to be the mirror to her, but alas!

And aww Dumboy Chavan asked her if anyone misbehaved with her!

"Aapko kya farak padta hai?" was a loud answer, if he understood the gol-gol baat. In fact, she is replying to all his questions but not with 'straight answers' as he wants. Banda itni bhi mehnat nahi karna chahta to Sai kya kare

Bhavnikaku is definitely holding a deep down secrets that even her Makad gage (credit to you Janki) may not know - a raaz, jo raaz he rahina chahiye.

Sukriya to Shivanibua for spilling the truth in front of the Chavan and Patil khandan ke "trophy bahu" comes with the price of monetary value and nothing more. PP for now is going to swallow her pride and narcissistic nature as her eye is on one thing- Virat. Virat to her is like how Matstya Vedh sphardha was to Arjun. Winning Virat is turning into a zanoon जुनून for her. So for now she is going to let go of Bhavnikaku's motive of keeping her in the Chakram Niwas, and use Bhavnikaku to her advantage.

But unfortunately, Bhavani is not Krsna and PP is not Arjuna... instead, I would apply your Matsyaved to Virat and Sai -- because Krsna tells Arjun to concentrate, aim the arrow and not bother about anything else (like Virat has told Sai) and when Arjun asks Krsna, "If I will do all of it, what will you do?" Krsna says, "What you can't, that I will. I will keep the water steady." So PP and Bhavani are going to end up being such a disaster at the end. While Bhavani will still get her redemption, perhaps, because of her age and auda in the family, it is PP who will suffer.

As you mentioned Bhavnikaku is "using" Pakhi to drive a wedge between SaiRat. She is a smart woman, she has noticed to growing fondness Virat has for Sai. She has noticed the unspoken communication between SaiRat and how isharo isharo me baat karti hai.

Bhavni's dislike for Sai has to be beyond the cast, class, race. She knows deep down that Sai is a very sharp, outspoken, fearless woman and she will be able to unmask the mokhota she has been wearing for years.

Pakhi and Bhavni's share similar goals - one want to win a price (Virat) and one wants to keep raaz a raaz.

Dusma ka dusma dost hota hai. To bring down Sai they know they have to join hands. Little do that know that Sai is a fearless woman in whom power of all the goddess resides..and she has the blessing f Shiva.

I was too taken up by the revelation of Bhavani's character today. The entire terrace conversations with Ninad and PP (Devar-Bhabhi duos from Chakram niwas love their terrace talks, isn't it) really was a window into her mind. Also, her entire plan of harassing Sai. It won't be long before the harassment will take physical form and that is when Virat will truly see their faces.

Can I just say that I look forward to reading your take after every episode! And I completely agree that Bhavani is the formidable enemy to be wary of while paakhi is a mere pawn. The actress playing Bhavani has already brought in distinction to her version of this character by establishing her devices in a much more subtle manner, she watches, observes and then makes her move.

I just hope they don't try to white wash her character to shove down a "bade hai" wali reasoning on her heads. Because so far the show has been realistic in terms of characterisations where all of them are layered which keeps the plot moving too.

Bhavani is formidable because of her silence and also the influence she has on Virat. we are all concerned about Virat finding out PP's true intentions but the fact is that he will take longer (or perhaps never) to acknowledge that his Kaku is not just an orthodox woman with a sharp tongue but also malicious and evil. I think the whole Devyani track will also reveal a lot to Virat and open his eyes to the dark truths about the family.

The reason why Bhavani does not want Sai to find out the truth is perhaps because she knows it will directly mean Virat also finding out the truth and what she is hiding is not grey but black, sinister. The creepy feeling is already there.

Agree with both your points. I guess Sai coming into his life is for a purpose -- he has been raised to believe misplaced concepts of "love", "respect", "family", "zimmedari" etc. Sai will actually break all the chains he is bound by because he has a thinking mind, but someone needs to ignite that mind.
