The fact that she has to put up with and utao Pakhi Didi's nakhras is beizzat enough isn't it😆
I think it has to do with the fact that he keeps calling her immature, bacchi etc and also he told pakhi over the call "Mein samjaunga Sai ko".

Virat literally empowers pakhi's fantasies with such words for sai 🥱
It could be because Virat always tells Sai not to cross her limits, but when Pakhi says something about Sai all he does is close his eyes and nod his head - like seriously his befriehini will get that look. Head movements and aakho ne ishare were not part of the curriculum at UoM.
Like today over the phone when Pakhi made Virat promise that no one (here we all know she is talking about Sai) is to insult her and Virat promises her that he will let Sai know. To me this was the perfect opportunity for Virat to tell Pakhi to not insult Sai but out Vaada boy did not utter a word to Pakhi about respecting Sai.
It is disheartening to see Virat treating Sai as an inanimate object. He keeps telling her that she does not know what it means to lose a loved one. Hearing the breaks my heart into millions of pieces. How easily he forgets the reason he is fit and fine and breathing today. Each breath he takes is only because of Kamal Joshi - father of the girl you are treating like a worthless piece of furniture. The Chanva and the Patil'a should worship Sai and bow down to her everyday as the sacrifice her father made was purly selfless.
I digress!!

Seriously I don't get why he doesn't remember to apply the same conditions of not insulting sai on pakhi 🤢 Or does he think pakhi is such a goody-goody that she won't ever insult sai even after he is basically encouraging pakhi to insult sai by putting sai down in front of pakhi all the time by calling her immature compared to pakhi etc 😡
I think he was just trying to diffuse the situation and sort it out once and for all but he forgot that sai was standing there listening to him as he said main samjhaoonga sai ko. Obviously she’s hurt. Because even though she made the effort to go to pakhis house for his sake instead of standing by her he’s making it seem like sai owes pakhi something. Pakhi is behaving as if she’s a headmistress giving last warning to the kid who’s going to be expelled from school (sai). Bechaari. She swallowed her self respect and pride and she keeps getting to hear insults from majority of the household members. Thank god ashwini and Shivani are on Sai’s side.
I really don't like Virat's quite apparent patronising behaviour towards Sai, and thus, I agree with her 'beizzati' dialogue. Being older than her, one does expect Virat to be a guide and friend of hers, but this patronising attitude, constantly belittling her viz a viz his overly mature Pakhi irks me. No matter how much I want to like him, I just cannot let go of his this behaviour and thus, even if he does anything good, I have his jibes and irrational behaviour in the back of my mind, which do not let me quite admire him.
For example, from the precap, it is evident that he has stayed home for Sai's result, but even while they'll be celebrating, I'll have persistent thought about how he was all sulky and rude when Sai had so eagerly told him about her apprehensions for the upcoming result. Things such as these don't allow me to whitewash his character at all.
🥱
Its here because he said sai never waits for me.
but in real she does
By bezaati she wants him to understand her hidden feelings which she will never show.

@ Bold I am not sure about 'inanimate object' thing. I feel that Virat has not yet come to term with the fact that she is an adult. Yup, those are his fleeting feelings but overpowering is still the 'bachhi' feeling. That is why he was wondering why Pakhi got so much hurt by Sai's words 'Chhoti hai woh'. For him she needs to be taken care of (he has taken care of her when around as much as possible), pampered, punished, trained for social behaviours just the way you do for a kid. He doesn't consider her much as an opinionated adult. Rather I feel he considers Sai, so much of his own (almost like a beloved baby or a pet) that his treatment of Sai seems like inanimate.
Conversly, Pakhi sees Sai as a women and hence the threat. Eventhough Pakhi knows that Virat is fond of Sai more as a teenager kid, Pakhi, being a woman feels anxious that at some point this fondness will bloom into romantic relationship. She tried cutting the strings at earlier stage when she said, 'Tum bachhi samazake jo usaki har zidd puri karate ho woh band kar do'.
@Red I think that was in rage as he was upset with Sai and Pakhi exit. Also, he was talking from POV of romantic love may be.
Rather, Virat-Sai's conversation where they clicked for the first time was about fear of loosing loved one (The video call scene) so he knows that Sai knows. Lekin hame to pata hair Virat sir, upset hote hai to bina soche bol dete hai... jo badamd unako bhari padane wala hai!
