i like that they didn't do too much alteration to the original and has kept original song ka flavor mostly. also this is a much better put together promo and works i enjoyed it. this song has always been way too special so glad to report i didn't felt too offended while watching or listening to it. 😆

LOL actually I think I've finally figured out the pattern....this is actually more along the lines of the Suman/Kuhu defenders....the ones who feel that if a girl has gone through some "trauma" (and yeh trauma ki definition is also crafted per self-convenience), then that girl is justified in misbehaving with anyone in the name of being "savage".....lol this is the new variant of "empowerment" it seems😆.....so ab yeh Sai is the new torch-bearer of that philosophy😆.....ki cuz she lost her father, she is justified in throwing tantrums and lashing out jab marzi and woh jo bhi kare woh justified....while on the side, she has "perfect chemistry" with ML so "win-win"😆.

Whaat...! Lol I have completely missed that whole part But they really do this bait and switch all the time and do it in a good way tooI need to start watching randomly to see episodes I missed in the middle.

Radha was so adamant in yesterdays episode that you have to tell me how you know everything and Krishna as usual tries to brush it aside, but Radha was not having it But ofcourse krishna being Krishna gets away every single time without answering

LOL even I'd never watched this part when it aired....abhi rewatch mein dekh rahi hoon how they spun even Dwarka nirmaan to be about Radha😆.....waise toh kuch khaas nahin hai....that phase was kind of a drag.....they basically showed Krishna looking for a new place to take the Mathura people and then they show him waiting on Radha to dream of that place....he also conveniently makes Revati and Rukmini have the same dream so that they feel he is making the place for them😆....this gives him a public facing justification for the design of Dwarka while in private, him and Radha both know that the design is based completely on her dream😆. Iska logic yeh diya hai that Dwarka was created out of love and ab love/prem toh Radha hi hai so uske dream se banana tha😆.

I just could not bear that track , maybe I can give it a try one more time just to see RK parts.

LOL arey it's kind of an annoying track even in the rewatch.....this entire phase of Krishna watching Radha/Rukmini ka competition to prove the value of sakhi prem is😆.....and this is the phase when they are building the avalanche of wives in his life so it gets tiresome😆......the current phase is better cuz the wives have all settled in and don't keep mooning after Krishna as much as they were in this phase with first Ruk, then Satyabhama and the whole long list😆.....baap re....lol

Current phase mein Krishna has completed his grand dharma sthaapna missions and he's in no hurry to keep jumping to the next phase in his life....ek contentment hai in his scenes with Radha now compared to the Ruk phase where he was busy trying to set up the "dynamic" with Ruk 😆

Now lets see how they weave in Ganesha in this track I just keep thinking about your MCU reference with everyone making an appearance somehow in RK story

Haha the MCU reference is so apt though, haina?😆.....they have a whole universe of Gods and powers to conveniently weave into the RK story jab bhi mood ho😆......Mahadev toh is omnipresent in almost every RK story😆

I agree it's good that they haven't remixed it much and kept the flavor of the audio of the original....but can we talk about the costumes for a bit?😆

Yeh Shirali wala keeda kya ab movies mein bhi aa gaya hai? WTF was that half sari outfit that Sara was wearing towards the end?😆......also, did she switch over to sneakers half way through the song? When it started, she was in platform heels, then suddenly she switched to sneakers😆

Why can't ppl have normal clothes in masala songs? Like the 90s songs ke costumes used to be wacky ones too but aise trying too hard types nahin lagte the😆.....the original Tujhko mirchi lagi just had Govina in his usual multi-colored pants and printed shirts and Karishma in those satin saris, no?😆.....wohi recreate kar lete......but Sara's clothes just scream like she's trying too hard with the designs....pehle woh fluffy si short frock type dress.....and then the weird half sari in the end😆.

Had to post the original😆.....don't mean to compare but the whole fun of this song is in the epic Govinda expressions and Karishma matches him just right without it feeling like she's trying too hard.

Also, no offence to Varun-Sara's attempt but even Shivika managed a better Tujhko mirchi lagi in keeping to the essence of the song.....Shivaay in his sadakchhaap costume mode and Anika in her long kurtas😆

Perfectly put in a nutshell!! Yes , so she lost her father she can do anything and go to any lengths it is only fair, you see that in real life too in SSR case His family is the only one who lost everything, so you have to be kind to them, no matter how they behave or what they do! But god forbid you show the same consideration to Riya and her family, that would amount to blasphemy!

Thing is, we were taught growing up that "two wrongs don't make a right"....it seemed like a simple enough philosophy to understand....but for some reason, it doesn't seem to get through to people anymore. I'm not saying that it isn't human to feel resentment if you feel you've been wronged and you want to "retort" or whatever.....but what's new is how people have started HAILING the back and forth of retorts as some kind of "justified response" to perceived slights.....each side thinks only their "retorts" are the apt ones and so the vicious cycle continues since no one wants to be the mature party and rise above the fray to look at the bigger picture.

And it's also unfortunate that all this has eroded the basic baseline of what acceptable behavior should be. Going through some kind of trauma doesn't give anyone the right to tear down someone else.....this is really a new disturbing phenomenon where ppl feel ENTITLED to misbehavior if they feel they personally went through some trauma.....the rush to judgement isn't new in human nature....what's new are the avenues being provided for ppl to do so.....that is what leads to situations like the SSR case which turned into a wildfire of tamasha overnight cuz so many avenues were provided for everyone to push their own agenda and grievances, find their own villains that satisfy their own bloodthirst rather than letting any process play out. End mein kisi ko bhi kuch nahin milaa....bas har jagah tamasha failaya and maligned the memory of the one who had passed.

It's like it's considered "insulting" and "weak" nowadays to try and show some dignity....lol ajeeb hai.

I really appreciate this more now, you can see the difference so clearly ! There is just so much fluidity in dancing and it feels so natural when Govinda and Karishma does it. In Varun and Sara case you can see those jerky movements and it looks staged. Looks like they are doing aerobics😆 Its so hard to beat Govinda in his timing, expressions and his natural free flowing dance.

LOL you know, when we were growing up, I feel like we took these songs so much for granted😆....ki har movie aisa koi ek gaana toh mil hi jaayega, big deal😆.....Govinda songs were a staple then but kind of background noise for me....lol matlab main heroes toh SRK etc. hi hote the who's movies I actually looked forward to😆.

Now each Govinda 90s song feels like a GEM😆.....like some endangered artifact that can never be recreated so we cherish it more now😆.

Varun-Sara are trying but I think main struggle is the disconnect vis a vis trying to do something that is 90s but the costumes and moves not flowing that well.....it's not that they both can't dance....and some moves they did well too....but the thing that worked for the original song were the close-ups vis a vis the expressions and the body movements ka flow.....that is what's missing in the attempts to recreate.

What's funny to me is that Sara totally did fine in the Aankh Maarey remix which was also a 90s song remix but it flowed there.....everything from the steps to the costume wasn't about trying too hard....bas ek flow mein tha.....here they've gone overboard in the costumes/sets and sort of lost the base vibe.....lol
