Also, the decision to marry Samrat's was Patralekha's, even before Virat and she met the second time. So, why would Virat interfere between the betrothed and create a "rift" when he did not seek Pakhi... He was heart broken but since the wedding was on, he did not obviously open his mouth. It would have meant Samrat calling off the wedding, which he didn't want.
His idea of "treasuring Pakhi's love () in his heart" was also pure and he refrained from even the slightest touch with her from that moment on... @ Bold You just resonated my thoughts. Pakhi was dishonest to Samrat even before Virat entered the scenario. She was just marrying him in anger, when she was so hardly clung to her 2 day wala love. She did not even look at him once properly (including at the Sakharpuda) and still said 'ye shadi maj apani marji se kar rahi hun'.
For Virat, He entered the scenario very late when marriage was already on the card. He never wanted to be reason for Samrat and family's unhappiness and YES, hd had no business to tell about him and Pakhi in the middle of wedding rituals. It was a strict business between Samrat-Pakhi just like it was between Virat-Sai. So, I never felt Virat cheated Samrat. Yes, his choice of making Samrat happy ended up becoming cause of his unhappiness.
