True! Sara has to ask herself what’s important for her- being with someone who’s successful and will offer her a stable life or being with someone who she really likes (or maybe even loves) but who promises her nothing!

That’s the dilemma of being in love; you may not be able to choose who you fall in love with but you can certainly choose whether or not you want to be with that person! It’s generally assumed that the person you fall in love with is the person you should be with for life. But that’s not necessarily true!

What do you think? Should she stay with Ian? Or take a chance with Ryan? 😊

It is a difficult question, career is not just money, it gives social status, confidence etc...

You're right. It's important. We see how it has affected Ryan - not having a job.

But feelings are important too. Is it easy staying in a relationship (or even a marriage) with someone you don't love? I would say it's possible. It depends on the kind of person you are and what makes you happy. If a stable life is what's important to you or if its being with the person you're emotionally connected to. It all boils down to who Sara is, or who she wants to be.

I think each one of us would choose differently.

There's no telling what the future in each choice will look like.

Sara has to break the relation and she needs some push for it...either the circumstances or Ian or Ryan or an outsider

Then Ryan to take the step towards her...

The choice is for Sara to make. The question she needs to ask herself is that even if Ryan was not in the picture, would Ian still be the right person for her? Is she making the right decision for her? Ian is asking her to marry him, but Sara is resisting which means there's already some doubt in her mind. Whether she's able to push herself or needs someone or something to push her - it's a decision she has to make soon, because Ian is not going to wait around forever. Besides, he's here now in India and is able to influence her much more in person than on phone calls. So resisting him will be even harder for Sara given the kind of person she is. If she banks on some sort of promise or overture from Ryan to help her make her decision then that again could be a mistake, because I do not think Ryan is in a space to be able to make any kind of promise to her. Yes, they're attracted to each other and there's an emotional connection too, but neither of them know if it's any deeper or long-lasting.

Sara has to examine this situation free of Ryan. She should be making her decision without considering him at all. Right now she isn't in a mental space to be able to do that. I think something has to change in the current circumstances first.

Yes....the decision has to be made out of Ryan....

I'm facing a kind of burn-out. Not motivated right now to write more. Don't know when I will continue. Readers are also kind of low-key about the fic, so it doesn't matter... 😒

I was better off writing for myself, but that's no fun either ....😔
