Suprabhat Bhagininno! (Morning greetings in Marathi for sisters)
Today's title is for me - so that I save everyone from my heavy onslaughts 🤣 I will try to keep it short and sweet.
Okay, so the title is also for Virat and Sai (and PP, but in the end)
I am not sure if the dialogues are purposely being left loose to leave it open for interpretation but I think they can do a better job. Anyhow, taking the scene at face value:
Much hesitation, much distance but what spoke louder than the dialogues was the silence -- there was no expectation for explanations or accolades. I liked the beauty with which their understanding was highlighted in today's short scene.
In one of the threads yesterday, I mentioned how I saw the entire fight between Virat and Sai as 'normal' where he was ranting without even meaning much and Sai understood that. Although she was hurt, she did not turn it into an ego issue. She just wanted to cool off and think of a solution. His "yahan tak sab bhara hai Sai, Kuch bhi andar kaise Jayega" in the middle of all the other rant was a signal enough that this was just an "outburst" and Sai picked that up. Fights are ugly in real life as well. What we do after that is what makes a difference.
Just like the fight seemed so 'normal', their first interaction alone also was so 'normal'. The silence was deep. I LOVED it how they began the conversation with a "Thank you" instead of a sorry... Sai was actually not looking for a sorry either. Virat's standing up for her in the end had already done it for her because anyone else's opinion doesn't matter to her.
And he anyway did say 'Sorry'. She knew he did not need to explain himself further. He means it and it has been accepted.
Now coming to the Na bole, na Kaha:
I guess the dialogues felt so incomplete because it is actually a feeling that cannot be expressed in words... The beginning of an unconditional love, where there is no expectation to even be loved in return.
"Main aapki lagti hi kya hoon..."
"Mujhse mat poocho... Apne aap se poocho main tumhara kya Lagta hoon..."
'Main kaise samjhaun Sai ki main.... Ruk Jao"
And the clincher:
"Aaj ke baad na main tumhe is kamre se jaane ko kahunga... Aur na hi jaane doonga.."
(Sai, you are smart. That's Chavan saheb's way of saying, "I am just taking back my assurance that I gave you - tum doctor ban jaogi toh ye Shaadi chhodhkar chali jaana. Main tumhe Nahi baandhunga... I have changed my mind. Ab Nahi jaane doonga." 😎 Your deal wali marriage is official over. It is now a journey to find the answer to 'jaane tu Mera kya hai...' 😉 and in Chakram niwas, it will be full of roller coaster rides...)
To what extent will he be able to live up to this, we'll see (since most of us have killed the cat with our curiosity anyway 🤣)
Sai has rejected the 'dosti' offer. OBVIOUSLY na, Chavan saheb, aapki dosti ka definition 3 din me Dekh Kar koi bhi aisa hi bolega and wo toh Sai hai, Sai 😅 Pata Chala, the next morning you plan a "three best friends" wala outing saying, "A is friend with B and A is best friend with C so B and C can be 'just friends' na? No, Sai, it's not worth the risk. Don't take that. But he didn't really feel the rejection either. Wo Kaunsa sach me dosti offer Kar Raha hai 🤣 we all know, he can't tell her that her hair clip is missing 😂😂. And if he doesn't get his good night's sleep, DIG will set up another departmental inquiry, so Sai, please stay back and build your Sinhagadh.
Last two lines:
PP ko bhi Virat Ka 'Na bole tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha' samajh me aa Gaya. I liked how she checked out her rang badalta mangalsutra in the mirror in her room. But unfortunately, her disturbing association of the mangalsutra with the unreasonable idea with which she allowed Samrat to tie it is going to bring her more gloom. I wish this intelligent girl finds her purpose in life and starts afresh. And if you ask me, it cannot be with Samrat because she has married for the wrong reasons. In her mind, she hasn't married him at all. She needs to walk out of this entire situation, the entire marriage and free Samrat and herself from it and reboot her life. (We know it won't happen, but it was free advise)
I liked how she said "Main MATURE hoon, Apne faisle khud Leti hoon"
Virat, it's time for you to relieve yourself and her from the weight of the vaada because (as moronic as you are) she has made her OWN decision to marry her husband. Seriously, it's not your baggage to carry. Sometimes the more you push back the inevitable, the more it comes back to bite you.
Today's episode has already set the tone for how difficult it's going to be for Sai and Virat to leave behind this monster called 'vaadas', outside the saat vachans, that they have given each other. They are going to feel the pull, yearn and yet, allow the silence to speak. Ek doosre se door ho kar bhi, ek Saath...
With that, I bow out.
Waiting to hear from you all...
