Yes, perhaps because they have a maharashtra connect in the team for obvious reasons but then these references are not so well known and not everyone will be able to immediately connect with it. But glad that it's there. Also, Tanaji had used monitor lizards (called ghorpad in Marathi) to scale the fort during their guerilla warfare because it was a tough climb for humans. Of course the computerized lizard shown in that episode was a miniature version that looked a hybrid of household lizard and monitor lizard. Can't get over how it was standing on its four feet and wagging its bushy tail 🤣

This singhad fort has also been used as a metaphor. The Maratha empire used it to stop invasion from Mughals and Britishers. It was one of the poignant places to keep a check on any foreign invasion in historical times.

Here two, it symbolizes Sai will built a tough wall around her so that no unwanted person can break her heart and play with her feelings. A strong Sai will be tough nut to crack for our Vada Cha van.

Absolutely. The reason why Shivaji wanted it so desperately was because it was strategic. In fac, Shivaji was trying to win it back after losing it in the Treaty of Purandar, where he had to pass on some of his most important forts to the Mughals after losing the Purandar fort in a battle in 1665 AD. He lost is as part of a "deal" and had to win it back for his own reasons by breaking the "deal". So, thanks to all the zabardasti wala connections, we are making here, i thought I'd add this too 😆
