For MMK nothing matters except (false) prestige of the Chavan khandan and she will not mind doing unethical things if that saves the prestige. Sai being an extremely intelligent and truth loving girl is threat to what they are hiding/doing for that prestige which she is scared of.

Virat even though is a good human being does not have guts to do anything that destabilizes the family. He has jusg started defying on small issues after Sai's entry into his life. So Sai is double threat now.

@Bold- Yup! That's why kaku is even more worried.... because the once blindly and unfailingly obedient son virat has started objecting to the norms of the family seeing how sai is able to effortlessly speak her mind and raise her voice without care.
