Going by the recent plotline, makers haven't whitewashed Vansh's character.... Not yet. They just cleared him from all murder charges and that too from Kabir's point of view so we never know if it's the complete truth.... And He actually need not murder people like a psychopath to become a grey character.
The main problem is they aren't revealing much about what plans are going on in his mind from the start and keeping him a mystery(except the Shera fiasco and Sunny's fake murder plan) .... Which is definitely not done as it's been 130+ episodes.
Before shootout, when he was playing Ridhhima we thought he is falling for her and then after that when he genuinely loved her we thought he was again playing her😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 That's where the problem lies..... Nothing much is revealed from his POV.
It's becoming irritating now with so many past plots kept open already.
And most importantly they kinda forgot that Vansh is a mafia and never explored that side of him They are not maintaining his character properly. Even few important scenes are not executed properly and we aren't able to feel those scenes.
Its completely understandable given the pandemic and the previous 7-day-a-week situations but now as everything is almost normal they should be back to track ASAP.
Still hoping we would get these sooner or later.
Another thing is everybody is behaving with Ridhhima like an outsider, looking down upon her and whacking her or abusing her relentlessly, even Vansh never really considered her as a part of his family. When was the last time he actually treated her as his or to be exact "The Vansh Raisinghania's" wife?
Otherwise to me Toning down Vansh's character for Ridhhima or Ridhhima going overboard to save the "family" is not that intolerant.
