I guess it is the idea of Sai still being a teenager (18) and Virta being around 25-27. I believe if Sai was 20 , 21 may be it would not have been a huge problem... it is the idea of her just becoming a legal adult that is raising all the questions.

Traditional rigid families do not see school pass out girls as prospective brides. The general age gap is not more than 2-3 years in normal arranged marriages (not getting into educational qualification and caste factors)

Not the honeymoon trip.like in its.literal.sense but i meant the initial days when your honeymoon period is on maybe he was conceived on the first night itself.
