see this is the reasons I would never want to marry. It's not that men are bad or anything but at some point in time there patriarchal mind set will eventually come out and they won't want to compromise (most of them)

Anika was also quite strong n muphat but she too became submissive to Shivaay. Same with Khushi in IPKKND. Same with Riddhima even after she fell for Vansh.

riddhu was the most powerful among them for me till she fell in love with vansh and then she let him treat her that way

After marriage, a spearhead and successful girl/woman has to adjust to family, too - has to give mahanta ki pariksha/compromises almost every day... ...

- no one will trust/accept her in family otherwise... specially in un-educated/rural families and arranged marriages...

- own partner will take time to understand, too.....

So my MIL who is educated expected for me to take break for a yr/6months after having baby or atleas Go part time, thankfully I am in US & on visa so easy answer was cant do it visa issue but it happens in educated family too..

You have to sacrifice for family & kids in her words.. thankfully hubs knows my sanity lies in my work.. he told her to shut up

I want to point out one more thing here. It's. It's not that it's only we women who have to sacrifice and stuff. Men do that too which remains unnoticed and are underappreciated
