My dear forum waasis! Welcome to the GHKPM Headcanons thread🤗

What is a headcanon?

Headcanon is a fan's personal, idiosyncratic interpretation of canon, such as habits of a character, the backstory of a character, or the nature of relationships between characters. The term comes from the fact that it is the canon that exists in a fan's head. It is an idea or a situation that isn't explicitly a part of the show/movie/series/book, but the fan assumes or imagines that this situation has already happened.

For example, Sai is an 18 year old girl in the show, and this is explicitly mentioned, whereas us fans assuming that Virat's age is 26 in show is a headcanon, as it is never clearly mentioned in the show.

Or

In the scene where Virat and Sai are returning to the Chavan mansion, Virat instinctively protects Sai during the speedbreaker situation is canon, while there would have been a situation where tiredness took over Sai and she fell asleep in the car, and unknowingly, she leans on Virat's shoulder and Virat doesn't try to push her away because he doesn't want to disturb her - this situation hasn't happened in the show, but in my head, it's canon.

Why this thread?

Since we have so many talented writers/thinkers in our forum, this is a platform for people who have so many ideas and situations of our favourite characters and couples in our head, but are too lazy to write a full-fledged OS/SS/FF/Drabble (like me😳).

Be it a descriptive idea or a mini-drabble, you can put them down here, where everyone can see, discuss and have fun with these headcanons!

Once you guys post your headcanons, I will immediately update them in the index so that people don't have trouble finding them!

I am going to go with the headcanon that I've mentioned in the example, and I'll elaborate on it a bit more

The Brief Moment of Peace

Sai looked out of the window, watching, as her beloved town swept past her. Never had she imagined that she'd be leaving Gadchiroli like this - without her aaba, with a police officer that she didn't particularly like, suddenly married off without her consent. She didn't know whether she wanted to cry her heart out or laugh at her misery.

Suddenly, without a warning, she felt tired. She could feel every bit of her body shutting down. Of course she would feel tired, from since yesterday, neither had she slept, nor had she eaten anything. Also, not to mention that she lost a lot of blood due to her suicide attempt. Slowly, she let herself close her eyes and get the sleep she needed.

Virat suddenly felt something pressing down on his shoulder. He looked down to see Sai's head on his shoulder, sleeping without any care in this world. For a moment, he forgot his pain, his worries, Pakhi and everything else, and just focused on Sai's peaceful face. This girl had been through so much, and though she was far younger than him, she faced the world with so much courage that he could only admire her.

He knew that Pakhi was looking through the rearview mirror, and she was hurt, heartbroken even. His usual instinct would have been to push her head away. But he did not want to budge. He did not want to wake up Sai. He wanted her to enjoy that brief moment of peace before she got sucked into the sorrow again. So, he lent his shoulder to her and let her rest, finding solace in the fact that Sai was next to him, and she was alright.

@Bold - yes you are allowed to comment😉 and you can also write your headcanons in this thread and I'll update it in the index.

There are no word limits to this. This is usually like a mini drabble, where you describe a moment or a scene you think could have happened.

Or you even just down an idea, like:

Every year, on Mother's Day, Sai would make her aaba's favourite sweet, gajar ka halwa, and feed it to him as soon as he came back from duty, because he's both her father and mother
