What a fabulous update really I have no words. The way you have portrayed kushi reactions and her state of mind after hearing Nani’s revelations of how her father had approached Arnav’s Nani with kushi’s alliance.

Kushi has still not overcome her fears of her traumatic marriage with Shyam and also she holds her parents responsible for the mess she is in and she always tries to maintain a safe distance from them because as parents or being her guardian they were never there for her nor did they try find our what she wants in life for them it was and is family honor prestige wealth and status in society.

Now after Nani’s revelation about her alliance with Arnav she feels the only relationship she had been trying to build with Arnav will get destroyed and he will not see her in the same light as was before and because of her parents she has to face embarrassment again.

But must say Arnav time and again has proved he’s not only her boss but also a friend whom she can share anything and everything. He has tremendous patience as far as kushi is concerned whenever he sees a small frown on her face he gets worried for her. He will go to any lengths for her to see her achieve her dreams. He knows she is an intelligent girl with dreams and aspirations and he wants her to become mentally strong and face people and the world and not go into a shell. Slowly and unknowingly he his falling for her and she has carved a special place in his heart.

Wonder what Nani’s reaction will be when she comes to know that Adhiraj Guptas grand daughter is kushi whose alliance had come for Arnav .

I LOVE the pace of your story. Every single development feels so natural. The fact that Arnav places her before his selfish need to have her around is so refreshing tbh. Like I said, the characters were so familiar that I could easily envision Arnav and Khushi from the show in scenes written by you - Khushi's drama with Arnav's exasperation. Their wedding celebrations were also cute, albeit with a few expected arguments. They are like Tom and Jerry so their love comes with fights 😆.

It was a sweet little tale and I'm going to read more of your old works. I read one OS named Perfect. "So you better..." is on my list, will read it soon .

Do you have any index btw? I wonder how many of your other writings I must be missing out on . Or do you have all the stories up on your blog? In that case, I'll have a look there .

SABI YAYYYYYYYYY !!!!! YOU UPDATED !!!!! Also hello.. and sorry long time !!!! I missed you so much. How are you??? Hope you are staying safe?? (Sorry haha i know this is so random but it’s been so long since i’ve spoken to you?? It feels like ages ago hence the intro. I randomly thought of you and your stories today to see I missed 4 updates and my god, the twists had me shook!!! I was just.. okay just realised I have started a bracket here and I have written all this so far with no emoji’s so let me try and get a grip so I can comment like a human) 🤗

I love how chapter 21 mentions Khushi’s changed feelings - it just shows how unburdened she is after having that conversation with Arnav. It’s such a subtle change but it must give her so much peace.. the fact that it makes her feel so good is heartwarming! Reading how she went past Arnav’s office 3 times 😆 - ADORABLE LOL!!! Also, can I just say this fic has made me want to learn how to make aloo parathe so many times!!! I might actually need to look up a tiktok or a youtube video and surprise my mum.. or get scolded instead but lets see LOL!!! Also AKAASH is so cheeky LOL.. and Khushi is just such a sweetheart!!!! She makes my heart so full LOL!!! You do such justice to her character.. ooofff. 👏

Can I just say I LOVE HOW YOU DESCRIBE ARNAV.. I love how he describe him around Khushi and his character in general. The way you write about how his eyes soften as he looks @ her and how he gives her his undivided attention when she enters.. it just makes me fall in love with Arnav (AND YOU’RE WRITING LOL) all over again. Omg they’re talking about Nainatal!!! Ooooh such fond memories haha.. ahhhh i miss them :( also this is so domestic but hearing ArHi talk about the room temperature made me imagine a future update where they are married and stuff like this just happens involuntarily argh.. i just want them happy and married already!!! But I love where they are @ now.. it’s so hard I ship them so much😆

Khushi bringing Arnav parathe is the sweetest thing!!! The fact that she chooses to sit with him and eat as well.. PRECIOUS !!! Arnav moaning about soy made me laugh so hard. He can be such a child @ times LOL😆 Nani meeting Khushi would be a treat (now that I know the heartbreak it entails, i’m struggling to write too much on this though but before I had read the other updates, I was both nervous and excited!! Hehe).. Again.. you’ve done it again. The defence colony cake story.. I don’t know how you manage to write in such a soft and natural way that it feels i’m actually watching this all play out in my head. You and your writing BANGS SO HARD (this is a compliment in case this sounds weird LOL)🤗

I loved, loved, loved how you mentioned Khushi’s appearance when she lit the candle.. how she was radiant. She just have those vibes.. my precious baby! And Arnav is smitten, oh so smitten LOL. The comments from the staff members though - “maybe ASR is resigning too” 😆😆

“the cake was indeed terrible” - LOLLLLLLLLLL I LOVE YOU AND YOUR FIC SO MUCH

Akaash teasing Arnav is adorable but what really made the scene for me was Arnav telling Akaash to not make these jokes in front of Khushi. It just, it’s such a sweet gesture!!! I love him so much. The way he cares for her is so, so heart warming and then his smile @ discovering she was anxious for him.. matlab he smiled with his eyes! Perfection.. absolute perfection.

Loved it Sabi!! I will be back soon with reviews for the following chapters and I just want to reiterate how happy I am you’re still continuing your stories!! I was a bit scared you stopped (if you did, it is understandable. Devastating but of course, your needs/wants are superior) but these updates just made my day!!! ❤️

So I was right, it turned out to be anticlimactic with someone Khushi did not even know. But you managed to bring in the past when none of us were expecting it.

You got us all nervous with the prospect of who the guest could be, and just as we rested easy that it's no one important, you dropped the bombshell. Not fair .

I liked how Arnav saw Khushi being uncomfortable and came to her rescue. Also, the fact that he tells her to say No, even if it is to his own Grandmother.

I'm someone who finds it very hard to say No to people, and the same advice has been doled out to me multiple times. But it's not as easy as it sounds 🙈. I hope me and Khushi, both learn it soon 😆.

And I think my favorite part of this update was when Khushi unknowingly pictured Arnav in her wedding reception. To be honest, I had been slightly wary of how their platonic friendship was ever going to turn into more. Especially for Khushi, who is not in the right mind frame to consider relationships anywhere in near future. But this was an absolutely fantastic way to make her think of something, she wouldn't ideally have.

Even if it was only Arnav's companionship that she seeked, she did picture him beside her as her husband. And she realizes the depth of what she imagined! She may try to brush it away as a casual thought but I don't think it's going to leave her alone. Especially after knowing how close it was, to becoming a reality.

Coming to the peak of the update - poor Nani. She is going to highly mortified when she realizes her folly. Arnav has tuned out the convo but glad that Lavanya made sure he listened first hand and knew what damage was being done. So good of Anjali to act immediately upon Arnav's silent request.

Although this opens up a plethora of possibilities... am I allowed to say that I like how things actually turned out? 🙈

I know my opinion is different from most, but I firmly believe that whatever happens, happens for the best. If it was destined to be in this manner, there must be some hidden good in this. Khushi's character has changed tremendously and been shaped by her marriage. Arnav too must have gone through subtle changes in the intervening years. 3 years ago, they weren't the people they are now. We have no way to know whether they would have suited each other then or not... but we are more than sure they suit each other NOW!

I wouldn't ask for anything else 😇.

Still, I'm really keen to see if either of them dwell on the What-ifs later, when they are in isolation and thinking through the events of this party again. Let's see what are their opinions on this turn of events.

And yes... let me not forget the other details from the party -

Akash has it bad. Let me quote something here 😉

“Oh and would you believe his audacity?” “the man was trying to tease me with you earlier this morning.”

This should be what Arnav says to Khushi later... if they end up being together before Akash and Lavanya 😆.

Hope that Lavanya realizes his feelings soonish, if not her own.

Again, I was right about Anjali finding herself a cute guy 😆. Your description reminded me of the time when NK was introduced in the show initially and Arnav used to be super annoyed with him 🤣.

Waiting for Anjali and Mr. Mongoose ki Love story... they are going to need a lot of luck 🍀🍀 to avoid disturbances from the predatory raptor 🦅.

Coming to the update .. loved reading it .. absolutely brilliant how gradually you have make them feel this way .. khushi thinking of the " what if arnav was there "..and arnav wanting to be there for her in her past .. and with nani s revelation ...and arhi s conversation about it ... too good

I feel so bad for khushi .. arnav please fall in love with her and realize that you love her and make her fall for you hard ☺️
