The disadvantage of starting with an author’s best work is that no other book will be able to match up.

I finished the book and I cant put in words how I am feeling right now. I dont feel like starting crazy rich asians because my mind is still in that book😭 I feel like reading something else emotional now so I can move on from that book lol.

The ending was so perfect and before I get carried away I wont say anything else until we review it at the end of the month😆 but yeah I was so scared reaching the end because I was fearing the worst but the ending left me satisfied

I knowwww! I was thinking the exact same thing yesterday that if this was her best work, I wont enjoy her other books as much. Plus she said herself this book was special because its based on true events.

Hopeless and November 9 are my next favorites of hers. Hopeless was the first every Colleen Hoover book I read and I have told it's story to every individual in my college. It was embarrassing. LOL

Okay now that makes me feel better to know I have other good stuff to read, thanks😆 but I will probably read some other writers before coming back to Colleen Hoover

All your perfects and hopeless titles always sounded interesting to me. It ends with us sounded boring from the title but I was pleasantly surprised😛 I still wonder why Ugly Love is so popular, I read the summary and it didnt interest me much tbh but when I read it I may love it because it ends with us summary wasnt as good as the book either.

I didn't like "ugly love" as much as other Coho books. Can I suggest you some other books that you may like. You should check out "the fall away series by Penelope Douglas". One of my absolute favorites.

Beautiful Disaster was a disaster of a book, it glorified toxic relationships. A complete page turner, but left a bad taste in my mouth after I was done with it.

Another book like that is the After series by Anna Todd which is so popular that movies have been made on the first two books. Books like these are an anti thesis of what a romance should be. It’s like watching bad movies because they are so bad that they are actually entertaining.

Ugly Love was the first CoHo book I read and I disliked it. It’s a surprise that I actually ended up reading more of her books after that. I guess I had more patience earlier on to give an author chance even though I didn’t like a book of theirs.

I have started reading My Dark Vanesaa after Shreya’s rave reviews on it. Let’s see how that goes. Will start Crazy Rich Asians after that.

I’m pretty sure all of us have massive TBRs and books we can’t wait to get to. Sometimes an enjoyable activity like reading can also be stressful. I really hope we can make at least a teeny tiny scratch on our TBRs.

There are just so many books that I want to read, it's a difficult task to choose which one to actually read. I hope we can read more this coming year too, but I feel like it's going to be a very busy year after this year when everything was practically put to a stop. The "coming back to life" is going to be tough.
