Spot on! I’ll just add a few more points to this.
Firstly, the seniors concept wasn’t needed as it delayed the opening up of the contestants by almost 3 weeks by which time it was already too late as audience had already made up their mind (Alleged TRP king Sid couldn’t help move the ratings needle even a bit lol).
Secondly, the red zone concept was a huge mistake. It effectively cut of 4 housemates from the rest and made the whole house look empty as if the season was reaching it’s climax even though season end hone mein bohat time tha.
Also every season housemates get the most desperate and do the most crazy things when they are nominated but they couldn’t do it this time for like a month cuz they were stuck in the red zone.
So viewers couldn’t even get to see the drama those nominated housemates would’ve brought. Bas chup chap khamoshi se evict hogaeye lol.
Also another minor point is that the house decor this season plain sucks. Thora better design karna chahye tha so that viewers ko ghar dekhne mein mazza toh aata lol
Another reason was that the housemates this time couldn’t carry their rivalries properly. Eijaz due to his unpredictability strategy changes rivalry every week (and last 2 weeks se toh woh bhi nahi kiya, just took a back seat).
Rahul vs Rubina could have been a great rivalry but starting mein Ruby took a back seat and didn’t try to do a lot to carry this rivalry and now for the last 2 weeks Rahul has taken a back seat instead so this rivalry is not flourishing.
Aly also inadvertently ended up damaging all 3 Jas, Rahul and Eijaz’s games.
He ended up making Jas look even worse then before his entry ( her flip from pro Rubynav to anti Rubynav after his entry made her look fake imo), he made Rahul look like his sidekick (with his dominant personality) and his presence made Eijaz struggle to go after Jas fully cuz he liked Aly too much and is only back to his rivalry with Jas after Aly’s eviction.
So bringing Aly as a wild card was a mistake imo and he should’ve come next season from the starting.
Also imo the biggest missed opportunity of this season was when Eijaz failed to capitalize on his ready made alliance with Pavitra, Jaan, Nikki and Rahul by saving Jasmin as a captain thus losing his alliance.
Season could have totally gone the way of Eijaz’s single screen gang vs Ruby’s multiplex going classy gang .
Then at the right time later on we could have Rahul and Eijaz turn on each other and do a elder bro vs younger bro (Asim vs Sid type rivalry) storyline and thus we could’ve eventually ended up with a 3 way rivalry of Eijaz vs Rahul vs Ruby lol
