Okay seriously, what's with this dude? He does one sweet thing which floors all of us and then goes ahead and acts stupid again.

We've discussed about his people-pleasing attitude and how it causes him so much unhappiness. He's so sensitive to everyone else's happiness that it actually borders on being insensitive. As I mentioned in another post, everything which Virat does comes from a good place but then it doesn't translate that way. Sure, getting Sai and Pakhi to be friends is a great thought he has. By wanting Sai to have a mentor and choosing Pakhi because she's won over everyone in the house is a great thought too. But that's the thing- he doesn't look beyond doing the "right" thing and doesn't for a moment consider whether those around him WANT him to do the right thing.

Virat knows that Pakhi has been a little suspicious of Sai ever since he left her wedding and went to save her. If he didn't understand it then, he should've after their terrace conversation. Virat's biggest flaw is he thinks everyone looks at things the way he does. He thinks by making it clear to Pakhi that he and Sai have nothing between them, he's buried the subject. Whether or not Pakhi is a psycho for obsessing over him is a different issue altogether but I DON'T blame her one bit for this. Not three weeks ago he promised her that he will never have anyone else in his life and yeh lo, iski shaadi bhi ho gayi. He is not willing to see her POV or even Sai's for that matter.

How is it going to be easy for these two women to just pretend that there is no Virat between them? He's being super insensitive to Pakhi and I think he should stop making decisions for others.

I think he is being insensitive to both Pakhi and Sai.

Virat is lacking in EQ dept. He may be be very intelligent and a topper, but he has no social awareness and cannot manage relationships. He often cannot examine how his actions affect others e.g. his asking Pakhi to marry Samrat, asking Pakhi to guide Sai, asking Sai to accept Pakhi's guidance.

Like you mentioned, he often has good intention, but its way too soon to expect the two of them together. Maybe if he gave Pakhi and Sai time to naturally come together, they could have shared a good rapport. But it's too much and too soon.

But I feel that he would keep on dragging Pakhi in between, Sai would not like that and would taunt her, and this would come across as insulting to Pakhi. The "insults" plus her jealously would in turn, turn her grey. It will be an endless cycle, unless somebody knocks some sense in Virat.

I think this ties up with what his mom said yesterday, that Virat is not very good at saying what he feels. His patriarchal family and his police training may have made him more on the objective side and so he cannot understand the impact his actions may have on others.

His inability to understand his own and others emotions was clear in his yoga-love saga. It was so easy for Sunny to convince him that he was in love with Pakhi.

Great post, btw๐Ÿ‘

@ Bold he must have learned this from Bhavani. Taking decisions on what others have to do. ๐Ÿ˜†

Of course with a good intention in his case but without considering other's feelings.

Great post and apt title๐Ÿ‘

Virat needs to understand that he can't force ....without hearing pakhi answer he brought whole thing in front of family.. He could ask Sai about this privately.....
