Since I'm new to this forum, there are certain things I don't understand. Can anybody help me understand what a drabble is?? And what is the difference between a Short Story and a Drabble??

Drabble is a fan-fic or a short story but sometimes exactly 100 words long
P.S. these are words from dictionary😆... don't know much about it

A drabble is very short and can go upto 300 words. It's supposed to be very brief and concise and is generally used as a way to test writing skills since you have to pack a lot in so little words. They normally involve established characters and plot. E.g somebody may write a drabble about Sai going to college to fulfill her dad's dream.
A short story (SS) can go upto 25,000 words and is about a series of linked events. The characters, plot are more fleshed out and developed, but to a lesser degree than a novel or show. E.g. someone might write an SS about Sai's journey in college.
