Why don’t Virat prepare Rulebook for Sai with the help of Pakhi on how to behave and talk with their family.

Moreover, what is need for Sai to win their hearts. Virat clearly states, she can leave after becoming doctor.

Even if family accept her now, they will start hating her once she leaves Virat. It’s better for Sai to be herself.

I understand that he was making a smart move because Pakhi is sort of in the good books of Bhavani, but it comes across a bit insulting for Sai. Especially the way he was saying, that Sai will learn about “kisse kya bat karni hai kya nahi.” I don’t think Sai has or will even say anything wrong to anyone, and she is definitely smart enough to stand up for herself. I understand your point. Actually Virat has spent a good amount of time with Kamal sir & Sai in Gadchiroli. He has seen Sai talk rudely to him whenever he displeased her. Moreover Kamal sir at many instances requested him to ignore her rude remarks which of course he did. Now he is also aware how the elders in his house are especially his Bhavani kaku. Hence he has a picture about what happens when these two collide. 😆But it was his stupidity to request Pakhi. He will for sure regret one day and realize Pakhi is meant only to add fuel to the fire.

I don’t think that anything regarding Sai and Pakhi being mentor and student will go further anyways. I’m sure Sai is going to tell Virat that she’s found her mentor in Ashwini and she doesn’t need anyone else, not him or Pakhi !

And all these 3 people approves of Patralekha. In fact when Pakhi spoke out in Sai's favor , she didn't get scolded like Ashwini got from Ninad.

And Viraat observed all that. He's sharp and keen and observant. He immediately assessed the situation and understood that Pakhi has the blessings of the elders that matters.

This observation power and sharp mindedness are what make him an excellent police officer.

So asking Pakhi to take Sai under her wings is the smartest chess move and a favor to Sai , if Pakhi agrees.

What is the point of asking Aswini, who herself completely failed to win over even her own husband in all these years and who doesn't have a good stake in the household??

Plus , by doing so he hopes to pacify Pakhi and also provide a listening ear of similar age but mentor type for Sai. He's not thinking as Sai's husband nor he should. He doesn't consider her his wife let's not forget that. He's thinking as Sai's well wisher. He wants to make life easier for her at the house and that won't happen until and unless she wins over the trio, and Pakhi is the best candidate to help her there .

Wo baat alag hai , it was very insensitive to ask your ex lover to mentor your wife. He didn't even think how much he hurt Pakhi by such a suggestion. I want Sai to point this out and give him a bit of her mind for hurting Pakhi once again.

In fact, they will never accept her the same way they didn't accept Ashwini. The only reason Pakhi has the blessings of elders is that she is Bhavani's choice and belongs to a higher class. Sai is neither of the two. No matter what Ashwini does, it always falls short for kaku and Ninaad, and it will be the same case for Sai. Virat's intentions were in the right place I guess, but as you mentioned, it was very insensitive of him and I hope he realizes he just hurt Sai's pride by asking such favor from Pakhi. I am also glad that Pakhi left without accepting his favor because now Sai can learn her own ways to control these circus animals.

The reason they favour Pankhi is because they selected her / she is a Maratha. She didn’t even spoke a word until asked, didn’t go to her own house when objected by them.
On the other hand ..Sai can never be that person . Her self respect is most important for her .

His vaadas and best friend aside, he is a very smart and understanding guy. He knows that once Bhavani accepts Sai in the house, everyone else will. And he understands that Pakhi is wholly accepted by Bhavani (mostly because Pakhi is Bhavani's choice and she's a Shahannukuli Maratha ladki), so he thinks that maybe, Pakhi supporting Sai might make a difference.

But that doesn't take away the fact that he is being insensitive to Pakhi's feelings, and also, Sai is not, and she'll never be Pakhi. She can never be submissive to people's taunts and crude remarks like Pakhi is.

But damn... the fact that Sai's welfare and acceptance into the house mattered more than Pakhi and her whining, made me love him even more

I appreciate his thought for her like you said in the last sentence FOR SURE! Very sweet of him but such things are only good in writing lol! Not applicable much should I say ? Because Sai cannot be Pakhi and nor can Pakhi Make Bhavani change her mind. Bhavani will end up telling Pakhi to not get in between; she’s like that type of a woman as we’ve seen.

Exactly. Bhavani might not condemn Pakhi, but she'll ask her to stay out of it, and who knows, Bhavani will do the Pakhi jaap even more saying, how nice she is that she's ready to see the good in people like Sai and Maushi 🤢
