The 'Aai' she never had

Ashwini's acceptance of Sai as Virat's wife and her 'sunbai' comes from her love for her son and her overall compassion. As she said, she knows Virat will not bring a "wrong" girl as his wife into the household.

What i cannot wait for is the bond between Sai and Ashwini. I can almost picture one scene where Ashwini will ask Sai to address her as "Aai". It will be the most emotional moment for her, I believe.

Has Sai ever addressed anyone as Aai? Because she mentioned to Virat that her mother passed away at childbirth. Also the word 'Aai' will remind her of her Aaba- for being her Aai and Baba both as well as for the banter they shared where he would constantly call her 'mazhi Aai'.

Like Bhavani said Aai jaisa hone me aur Aai hone me farak hota hai. We know Ashwini will be a doting mother to her sunbai.

I think among the many terrible things Sai is going through, the one thing that she will later thank Virat for is bringing an 'Aai' into her life.

Well said! I totally believe this. They would probably have a good laugh over the atrangi jethanis these both have 🤣

And I can totally foresee a lot of love, cuteness and respect between these two.

I hope this is one relation that comes out pure and strong, if nothing else. Sai standing up for Ashwini is the next thing on my list 😆

@ Bold yes Bhavani herself made it clear. Even though she was referring to Sai-Usha the same applies in her case too when it is concerned with Virat. Ashwini is an intelligent and respectable lady unlike Bhavani. She can clearly sense who's who. She didn't need much time to figure out what Sai is. The only dialogue of Sai in support of her Usha maushi must have made Ashwini realize what this girl is and how important she is for Virat in his life.

Also, that was the only time that Sai spoke when usha was insulted and the fasana taunt. No one has really stood up for Ashwini like this yet, not even Virat. Ashwini must have seen Sai's care for Usha.

Bhavani saying Aai aur Aai jaisa hone me farak hai makes no sense from her own point of view..she doesn't seem much of a mother to Devyani. I don't know how they filmed that dream sequence of her crying for Samrat. She doesn't have that much love for anyone!

Yes. Such fine delicate emotions and feelings can be understood only by those who are fair and sensible. Not by people like Bhavani who keep on bursting with ego.

Ashwini and Sai are so similar- both are righteous, feisty and all in all totally awesome! They're going to have such a great bond. I can't wait for that. In some ways, Sai will be more of a child to Ashwini that Virat was since she'll stand up for her.

As for Bhavani, how dare she says that "Aai jaise hone main" dialogue? Virat and Samrat are not her own sons but yet she is always so possessive of them. And Devyani is her own daughter but is hardly a mother to her.
