Makers know this fact. But the point is whether they progress story according to this fact or not it's their choice.

I hope they don't butcher the story just to show some small twists or to drag the show, the way they butchered Vansh character.

Don't know about the thriller aspect of show but makers are definitely playing thrill thrill with audience's mind n heart....
