When Pakhi said that it was clear that she means the opposite. She wanted Viraat to deny the validity and sanctity of his marriage , which he did immediately to pacify her. Which is exactly what she wanted to hear.

Truth is she gives a damn about Samrat. She doesn't accept her marriage with him and she would've nullified the marriage if it hadn't been for the fact that it provides for her an opportunity to stay in the same house as Viraat now that Viraat is married the only way she can stay close to Viraat is by using Samrat's wife status. She cannot divorce Samrat and marry Viraat because even if it's a deal Viraat is legally a married man.

Yes, I completely agree with you. If it is not for anything else, she can think about Samrat, at least on humanitarian grounds.

But no, the family is worried about Samrat. But Pakhi is in her la la la land. She can't see anything beyond her love story.
