The outdoor scene in the mango orchard was so beautifully shot! My heart shattered for Gulaal there. She made fulfilling Vasants dream her life goal, and in the process completely stopped living for herself. She did not even remember what her personal likes and dislikes were anymore The transformation from chulbuli, bindaas Gulaal of Vasant to present Gulaal is so stark and unsettling. At that point I felt like smacking Kesar for behaving the way he does with Gulaal I feel bad for each and everyone of them in turns, even Talli. ( which frankly I just never thought I will) But then everyone in right in their own place, its just the situation that complicates things for everyone.

KG meeting for the first time in 10 years was Kesar atleast got to see Gulaal whenever she came to meet him, but for Gulaal she saw him literally for the first time in 10 years. Last time she saw him he was a kid! All her emotions came spilling out, happiness, pride, hurt and everything she was holding back. Kesar too got to see her properly finally, but just as he gets all emotional , he remembers what he saw that day and tries hurting her as much with his words The coin thing he does everytime he wants to take a jab or hurt someone with his words.

How ironical that the first thing he does after coming back is thrash Durgeshs goons and the first person he meets is Dushyant!

Oh you are also quite ahead then😆.....since you didn't say anything, I wasn't sure if you had managed to reach the leap.....I was waiting to read your take on the first meet, but tum toh full speed ahead mode mein ho😆.

That first meet is one of my fav. scenes of theirs....a masterclass in undercurrents and mix of emotions....so awesomely performed by Neil and Manasi.

The aam bageecha scenes/epis are another set of classic ones.....we all raved about them when they aired too and they remain one of the best scenes to reminisce in this story....it was all shot so beautifully with the "chhoti si asha" sequence and then the transition to Gulaal-Talli running through the orchard.....Gulaal was ethereal in these epis....you can see why Kesar is in total awe as he follows her through the trees.....and then the little bit when she catches him watching her....lol that little nuance was so well done......it was all these build up epis where without saying a word, the tension between their characters is conveyed.....it was never typical romantic tension....it always had so many layers to it.

Re: feeling bad for Gulaal.....lol yes, Kesar was quite rude and mean in many bits in that first month or two....lol.....but ultimately you will start to feel more bad for him once he gets over this phase of confusions and frustrations.....then it will be Gulaal's determined rigidity and hard-heartedness that will make you feel worse for him😆....but overall as you said, we feel bad for all the characters in turn....they all have reasons for the way they think and behave.

Aww we didn't mean to spoil anything for you with the discussions/gifs😆.....here, I'll try to post gifs from the aam baageecha scene then since you've watched that part.

I used to alternate between laughing at her delusion and and feeling pity over her desperation to get KT together somehow so that she could get rid of this guilt inside her.....you can see at many points that she can see the truth but she is scared of facing it.....it is that fear that makes her more desperate about wanting to get KT together so that she doesn't have to face these feelings of Kesar.

Just like at one point, it was Kesar hurting her because he was so confused.....later on, Gulaal will be the one unwittingly hurting him cuz she can't cope with her own confusions.

And that is what makes it so intresting this very awareness on her part but living in denial. Anjaan hona ek baat hoti hai but denying yourself of something that can be beautiful knowingly caz it kinda makes you feel guilty of something that's not your fault is something else. Gulaal is still living in the past and the fact that she sometimes refuses to acknowledge the truth that Vasant is gone hurts it makes you feel bad for her thay despite all this time passing she has kept him alive in her little bubble she still lives as his wife. Now am not saying ke Vasant ko bhool jao and and up disrespecting what they shared no not at all but be a bit practical . Respect and love toh phir bhi rahega na. That is her flaw aa of now itna kho gayi hai ke apna kuch yaad hi nahi she is putting herself in so much pain and agony over something she has no control over. It was a tragedy sure but it has came and passed. Honey maybe you should try to move past it. Keep.his memories and love very dear to you am not asking you to forget it all but honey give yourself another chance.

I just binge watched in last two days😆

The undercurrents are so subtle but its always there between them. There is just so much going on without saying, its the glances or sometimes just the way they something that only the two of them understand the actual meaning to it. These two are just brilliant yaar:)

Ethereal is the word for that orchard scene, man it was just so beautiful. The song just added so many feels to the scene. Kesar was completely mesmerized by Gulaal, watching her being carefree , joyful and being happy. That small moment when they catch each others eye conveyed a lot. Kesar was caught off guard and looks away and Gulaals reaction conveys she can sense the shift in Kesar.

Lol, I can already see that coming. She has literally pushed herself in a corner by making all those promises to Talli. So I can only imagine the rigidity Gulaal will have, in the past we have seen how hard hearted she could be. 😆

Thanks for this, it’s actually my favorite moment in the scene☺️ Gulaal can sense it time and again, but is determinedly looking away or ignoring it, thinking it will go away😛 The thing is whenever the subject of What will you do Gulaal ? comes up by Motabha, you see Gulaal struggling to imagine her life without Kesar.

Oh he did na for voot I forgot the name of the show but his name was mohit where he played gay😆 but it was nicely done itna obvious start se nahi tha😆 and sorry if I spoiled it for you I watched that only for him and am pretty sure they will bring a season2 of thay however his character won't be back so whatever 🤷

Bahahahaha 🤣......this is too painfully true🤣......and I feel this is exactly how Gul and co. shoot their shows .....especially LM toh I can imagine saare scenes aise hi direct karta hoga🤣
