Yeah I just saw this on my TL. What are people even smoking? She was horrible in her debut. Look wise also average. I don't get SM these days, they make stars out of such basic people like Priya Warrier and now her.

Its not about good looks, but acting.

She was fantastic, Momma Darling prefers those marial type one note acting. He doesn't get the theatric acting.

Seriously. I mean Bollywood’s future seems doomed with the kind of uninspiring faces that are crowding the scene- both actors and actresses. After Alia, Ran^2,Ayushmann, RKR,Deepika etc who are already a downgrade from their previous gen in terms of charisma and appeal, I don’t see anybody who can carry forward the baton with even half the charisma these guys have.

Ananya would have sailed if she hadn’t become this level of meme material. Not sure now. She is getting movies left, right and center so people may end up accepting her. Then in retrospect we can make excuses and rationalize the outcome how she was the most talented to begin with.

OT: Difficult to say but I would still go with Annie not because she is most talented but because she has the promising path in front of her.

I have come to believe it is all about projects and nothing but projects. No one cares what they look like or how much screen presence they have if they don't have a good movie at hand. By face Tara and Sara are by far the prettiest but that doesn't even seem to matter. Who looked at Alia in SOTY and thought wow such a pretty face and what acting! I doubt even KJO. Sara's acting was promising in Kedarnath but everything after that was downright atrocious and painful to watch. Jhanvi is meh in matters of looks but she does well/okay within what she is given. She seems to have good movies at hand. I like Alaya but beside Jacky Bhagnani has anyone signed her yet? There is no buzz around the girl and as much as I like her she looks like a supporting character. I hope she does well in Bollywood though. I don't think any decent, meaty role will ever go to Tara so I personally have no hope her. I hate to write actresses of because you never know what can happen and all they need is one good movie but I just don't see it happening for her. She will do flower pot roles until she disappears. I hope she proves me wrong of course. Ananya has potential. She is not super pretty but she has this girl next door vibe which is very likable and pleasant so as long as she is not trying to be the gorgeous, hot babe like in that horrendous Karthik movie her looks work for her. She can also act fierce which is so refreshing to see.
