Yes...Ekta is much better there. I remember Jodha looked like a wreak with no makeup n dishevelled hair after death of her newborn twins in Jodha Akbar. And they continued that look for days.
Same in Kyunki. After any tragedy, characters did not have any fancy hairstyle or makeup. Simple sari, mangalsutra with a simple ponytail.
